What time do you sleep?

Hi guys, I'm just wondering what's your sleep routine like? What time do you usually go to bed? What time is the earliest and the latest time you go to bed? Do you have special routines before you go to bed? Are there special elements you need in order for you to sleep? (like there should be no light whatsoever, there should be music playing, you can't sleep with the door unlocked? etc.)

I have an erratic sleep pattern. When I work (nights) I get to sleep usually around 2am. Other nights usually around midnight, sometimes 10pm. I get up at 7:30 to take the kids to school but sleep in if I can on weekends. I usually nap, sometimes a half hour or hour in the morning, other times anywhere from a half hour to 2 hours in the afternoon. And at work I usually take a half hour nap. It's a bit unusual but it's very helpful when I travel across time zones because my body clock's already messed up so it's an easy transition.

Wow, your body clock is really messed up as I can see. Whew! Don't you get headaches? What do you think are the disadvantages of having different or erratic sleep patterns?

Wow, ear plugs. Aren't you afraid that someone might enter the room without you hearing anything?

I usually go to bed in the 10-11pm time frame. Lately my daughter has been a night owl though and I haven't been able to get her down until almost midnight. She is still up bright and early at 7:30 too! The earliest I can normally get to bed is about 9pm which is the earliest I can get her down. I need dark and quiet to sleep. Any little noise is enough to keep me up. I prefer to have the door open at night but my husband work's nights until two or three in the morning. I have two dogs and they bark and fly down our stairs when they hear him come in. So, I have to leave the door closed until he gets home so that the dogs don't go crazy and wake me and my daughter up.

Wow, I could relate to your daughter. I've become a night owl too and regardless how late I sleep, I always manage to wake-up at 6:30am to 7am at most! Do you think that comes from age? Wow, your sleeping routine / preferences are too tough, a little noise would wake you up, that means you're a light sleeper.

Thanks. Wow, how does it feel waking up at 5am? I could wake up that time, but I'm sure to go back to bed. That's what I do too, I think about the days events and that's enough to make me sleepy.

At an average I usually sleep around 10-11 pm. I usually watch TV before I go to sleep, and a lot of good programs are aired late at night. The earliest I go to bed was 8-9pm that was when I was really tired from work. I don't have special routines before I go to bed, I want to have lights off but I can also sleep with lights on.

I often wonder why they would air those good programs late nights? Anyhow, so you can't sleep with lights on either.

On "work days," I go to bed around 10:00pm. On days I don't have to work, I stay up until my body won't let me anymore. I can't sleep unless there's a heavy blanket over me and a fan blowing in the room. I also can't sleep (unless I'm absolutely exhausted) if there's a TV or radio going.

I usually go to be anywhere between 11.30 p.m and 2.00 a.m. depending if there are any late night TV programs that I want to see. I don't need any special conditions to sleep, except I do need to be warm so I make sure the electric blanket is on for a while but I can pretty much sleep under any conditions if I'm tired. Before I go to bed I make sure the TV, computer etc are all turned off properly, put the dishwasher on and sometimes the washing machine and then go to the bathroom to brush my teeth etc.

I usually go to bed around 1:00 AM and get up around 7:30 AM. During the week I sleep alone since my hubby works nights. So I like to listen to the radio when I go to sleep. I always close the door. I don't know why since no one else in the the house. I guess I just feel safer with it closed. I have an outside light by the corner of the house and it lets a little light in the window - makes it look a little like moon light.

Wow, what a nice question. Well, I am working overnight and I sleep at 12 noon up to 1 in the afternoon. It depends how long I will be staying in my store to get updates for my earnings after my regular job at night. Of course, there are times as well that I will log in online to check for my earnings online, emails, and play online games with my son.

I usually sleep at about 12am. But nowadays with my daughter going to school, I have been sleep like at about 10.30pm. In fact I sleep very easily and do not need any kind of special routine or element to sleep.

I usually sleep around 12:00 or 1:00, and wake up at around 8:00. But sometimes I forgo sleep for days in a row if I have a lot of work to get done. My sister has a pretty erratic sleeping schedule. Sometimes she'll sleep at 5 or 6 AM and not wake up until dinner.

I don't know about you guys, but i normally go to bed around 12 at night, it is harder for me to sleep, because i never can never relax in my bed. I just have never been able to fall asleep very well, i am what you call a "night owl." Sometimes it angers me when i can't fall asleep esp when i have something big going on tomorrow, it can get really frustrating trying to fall asleep.
