Have you had your first holiday trip in 2009 yet?

Well, January 2009 is already coming to an end. Have you had any holiday trips yet? I am planning to go for my first trip to a beach resort. It is just for an overnight stay.
While all of us are busy making ends meet, we need to destress ourselves. So, to me, a local holiday which is economical and affordable would be a good one. In fact, we should have a short holiday every month so that our mind would be refreshed.

Why not, my friend? A stay in a 4 star hotel is as good as a holiday with people to make up your bed for you.

In fact the 1st night on the 31st Dec 2008, we stayed in a executive suite - there was even an LCD TV there & a king size bed as there were no more rooms available, hahaSuch luxury which I'm not really used to but we enjoyed the stay anyway, especially my wife

unfortunately i have not gone on holiday yet, but i have one scheduled for may that i'm really excited about! i'm hoping to get away for a weekend or two before then, though, to spend some quality time with the bf :)

Yes, that's the way to start. A weekend away with a loved one would be really exciting. So many things are done without having to speak.

Nope. In fact, I don't recall ever having a holiday trip of any kind. I usually stay close to home during holidays. I like the idea of de-stressing.

Take a holiday soon, friend. You will find after the first one, you would want to have more. That's what happened to me.

No I haven't yet,but later this year I am going on my very first overseas trip to visit my son in Montreal, Canada.I feel very excited and also a little scared. I live in Geelong, Australia.

I am sure you will enjoy going to a foreign land for holiday. I have not done that for months. Hope that I will be financially sound this year to do so.

yes i have. actually, my trip started at the end of 2008, and carried over to 2009. i visited chicago for new years and then last weekend i went to LA. i also plan on going back to LA in february to go to disneyland!

Glad you had your holiday. May you have many more holidays each month of this year. Do encourage your relatives and friends to have theirs too. That's the least we could do to remind them.
