My children and I ate at the local Chinese restaurant tonight. As the place mats they have what everyone's Chinese Astrology Signs are. My daughter was born in 2001 and is a Snake. Famous people who are also Snakes, Oprah Winfrey, John F. Kennedy, and Martha Stewart. My son was born in 2006 and is a Dog. Famous people who are Dogs are Madonna, Cher, and Bill Clinton. I myself was born in 1978 and I am a Horse. Famous people who are Horses are Harrison Ford, Clint Eastwood, and Aretha Franklin. I found a website that will tell you what your Chinese Astrological Sign is, here is the link if you wish to check it out. Just find the year of your birth and look to see what animal is beside it. Click on the animal and read all the details for that sign. http://www.chiff.com/home_life/holiday/chinese-zodiac.htm Let me know what your Chinese Astrological Sign is, do you think it sounds similar to your characteristics? Who famous is the same Sign as you?

I have never liked my sign but than again I am a rat and that has never been a favorite animal of mine!! My oldest daughter is a monkey and my youngest daughter is a dog. That website was a good one though as I had never really looked into what they our signs really meant. I always knew what they were just never what they meant. It also said I wasn't compatible with my kids dad so maybe that is what are problems have always been!!!

hello alyssakenzie, The rat is not a bad thing in the this, he was cunning and was able to use his ability to win the race. That is why he is number among the 12 zodiac creatures.

Hey' you are compatible with anyone that you want to be compatible with, but you are likely drawn to those that are of similar astrological sign because the people have observed this for many generations. This is old science. Like me, I'm compatible with Rat, Snake and Rooster... Let's see how well this works? Good luck with the S.O. (Significant Other)

I was born under the year sign of a Tiger and my element a wood. I already read the Tiger wood (not the famous golfer)personality which somehow tells who really am, most facts there are true in my personality. According to chinese astrology, a Tiger is somebody who is always on the go, drivingly ambitious, stubborn and always seek leadership. Well, year of the tiger falls on 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010 because the animal sign return once every 12 years. I think the famous people born under this sign are Leonardo Dicaprio, Tom Cruise, Demi Moore, Robert Pattinson.

I am a horse too. I was also born in 1978. Cool but hot-blooded, hard-nosed but humble, impatient but extraordinarily tolerant, the Horse is above all defined by hard work and self-reliance. YUP, sounds a lot like me. Clay Aiken, Davy Crockett, James Dean, Clint Eastwood, Ella Fitzgerald, Harrison Ford, Aretha Franklin, Janet Jackson, Sandra Day O'Connor, Teddy Roosevelt, Mike Tyson, Boris Yeltsin My son was born in 2000. He is a Dragon. Part of Dragon sounds a lot like my son. Susan B. Anthony, Joan of Arc, Orlando Bloom, Sigmund Freud, Bruce Lee, John Lennon, Florence Nightingale, Keanu Reeves, Ronaldo, Mae West. My daughter was born in 2007. She is a Pig. I think that pig sort of sounds like my daughter, but she is really too young to tell just yet. Lucille Ball, Humphrey Bogart, Thomas Jefferson, Ernest Hemingway, Alfred Hitchcock, Mahalia Jackson, David Letterman, Arnold Schwarzenegger

I am a horse. Just like you. And here's a description of horse from a facebook application: Horse people are extemporaneous and quick-witted. They are quite intelligent and use their practicality to their advantage in their business and personal lives. Their sharpness makes them quick to pick up new skills and are able to handle many tasks at one time. However, this ambition can be harmful because Horse people often don't finish what they start for fear of missing out on the next big challenge. Horses are trustworthy, friendly and open-minded. They are good friends to have and will always be honest with you. Although they are good confidants, Horse people do enjoy their alone time and are usually independent people. They can struggle with obstinance and self-centeredness, which can lead to a flare of the temper if they don't get their way. Usually, after an episode or temper-tantrum a Horse can feel remorse, yet not all people will be able to forgive their reaction. Here's a link where I got this- http://www.chinesezodiachoroscope.com/facebook/index1.php?user_id=519739596&zodiac=.

I'm a snake! Snake personality traits Like a deep river, Snake people are usually placid on the surface, but their thoughts and emotions run very deep. Quiet and unassuming, they prefer to work by themselves and are more often in the spotlight for their real and lasting accomplishments than for outward attempts at garnering attention. Snakes hate to fail, and are very lucky when it comes to making money. With reputations for being hoarders, they are very frugal and careful about lending money to friends for frivolous reasons. However, they often show extraordinary sympathy when presented with an opportunity to help those who are truly in need. Essentially loners, Snake people commonly keep their own counsel and rely on themselves to get ahead in life, mistrusting others' thoughts and opinions on matters of the utmost importance. Facts, too, get in the way of decision making for most Snakes, who prefer to use their own deeply held feelings and intuition in negotiating life's crossroads. In matters of the heart, Snakes can be deeply amorous, jealous in nature, and do not handle rejection well at all. And woe to those who betray the trust and affection of the passionate snake! In business dealings, Snake people command respect for their accomplishments and can enjoy great success as teachers, writers or philosphers.

I am a snake! I agree with bits but on the whole think it is nothing like me at all! I'm not agreat believer in these things. I tend to think you could pick any sign at randomn and you'd be able to find bits that are relevent to yourself.

I just checked and I'm a rabbit (1975): "Although generally calm, gentle and loving, Rabbit people can be very ambitious and intuitively know how to get ahead in the world." Yep, that sounds A LOT like me. :-) As does the rest of it, now that I've really contemplated the entire passage. This is SO interesting! Famous people: Albert Einstein, Leon Trotsky, Frank Sinatra, Pope Benedict XVI, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, David Beckham, Tiger Woods, Whitney Houston

I am a Horse. I remember this from my g-pa telling me that I was a horses-a**, so that was easy. I read it and it matched me ideally. I called the boyfriend to see what his was and his is right on too--he's a rabbit. This was cool stuff.

I was born in the year of the tiger. I know tigers are really brave creatures and i think they are dominant. I think its a nice thing that i was born in the year of the tiger even though i cant seem to know what is its significance to my life. I not that superstitious and i dont really belive much even in zodiac signs, im just aware of what sign i belong to.

My chinese astrology sign is the metal horse. I guess it's a good description because I'm a hardworker and the description of what the metal horse is fit me pretty well. But I don't think that we can let our sign define who we are because we can define who we really are.

I was born in the dog year. I think the twelve animals only stand for the year in which a person is born. It has no other meanings. It is not necessary for a person to be disappointed or proud only because he is born in a certain year. If you see your Chinese horoscope, just take it as a joke. That's only my own opinion.
