What do I do with avocadoes?

So I bought seven avocados at the supermarket because they were on sale at 40 cents each. Now the problem is that I don't know what to do with them. Usually, I eat them plain or make guacamole, but I think that would get boring after a while. I want to try something new. Does anyone have some good avocado recipes?

i heard the seeds can be ground, and dried, and added to tea, to reduce blood sugar. it's very useful.

Interesting! I think I'll give that a try. Lord knows I eat too many sweets. =P

Here is an idea rather than a recipe. Slice a few slices from your avocado and spread them on a slice of dry toast. If the avacado is really ripe, it spreads like butter or mayo and tastes great. Then build your sandwich. Why use mayo when you can use an avacodo? The taste is amazing and you'll probably prefer it to mayo.

Make yourself a nice burger and top it with swiss cheese, avocado slices and some sauted mushrooms and onions. SOOO nice. You can also toss it into a garden salad, dice it and stir it (gently) into any kind of pasta, tuna or potato salad. It's very versatile. The burger thing is also really good on grilled chicken.

Make a dessert with it! Just mash up some avocadoes, add a little bit of yogurt and lots of condensed milk. Chill it for 3-5 hours and you'll have a nice tasting Avocado Dessert.

You can freeze avocados for later by mashing them with a fork, then adding lemon or lime juice, one teaspoon per avocado. Put them in plastic bags and freeze. When you want to use them, put the bag in a bowl of cold water until it's thawed.
