I LOVe cats. well probaly not as much as I think because I would have found a way to keep one. First of all my mom Hates cats and would never let one in the house hence I don't have any. Three weeks ago, a cat appeared near my house, a little kitten but apparently it was sick bacuse the next morning it Died. I don't know it I could have saved it but it hurts Me that I didn't do Anything. The next chance I get I will take in a cat though it may only be a Short time. I really Envy those of You who Can Takes Care of Cats. Do You Enjoy Taking Care Of Your Cats?

LOL! If you love cats, you will keep attracting them. I have two cats, real darlings. Well, cats are independent creatures and they usually resent being taken care of. They give you the message that they can take care of themselves. LOL!! Cheers and happy Mylotting

I really like cats and have had many throughout the years. I have only dogs for now but I love cats also. Maybe when you get out on your own you can get one. You will love having a pet.

It is sad that your mother feels this way, cats can be a joy, I have had three cats that have adopted me and I have taken care of them and they have given me so much joy in my life..i am a firm believer that cats have a very close connection to the spirit world as has been proven by nursing homes that have them roaming around and in one they believe in the cats so much when someone is about to die, there is so much we don't know about a lot of things and i believe cats are something we should treasure.

Hi there, In all honesty I did not used to be an animal person at all. In fact I was scared of dogs and tolerated cats as a child. Now after approximately 15 years living on my own I have one of each I have a cat, Buffy, a male that I got from the humane society and now a dog, Zena who is a yellow labrador retriever. Zena is also a fully trained service animal as I am disabled and use a wheelchair. I never thought I would ever say it but I have become both a cat person and a dog person. My Mr. Buff as I call him because he's a male cat with a female name (I got him from the humane society and he seemed to know nis name so I didn't wanna give him anymore identity crisis than was absolutely necessary) is a totally different cat then when I first brought him home He was a scared and terrified cat who I don't think had been treated very well. Now he is so laid back and lovable that I can't even believe he's the same cat that I brought home all that many years ago. So yes my animals are my babies and I would do absolutely anything for them. Unfortunately they're well aware of that and take advantage of me every chance they get. They definitely have mean wrapped around their little "paws". And I love every minute of it. Happy Mylotting!
