Do you know how to drive? I still don't have my own car but I'm saving hard to buy one even a second hand car. I have female friends who already have and drives their own car and I really admire them for learning how to drive. Is it easy to learn to drive? I am kind of a nervous person and sometimes jumpy so I feel driving is not for me. But I like the idea of driving my own car and going to places that I like with my kids. Do you think I won't have a hard time learning and would it be safe for persons like me to drive on highways? Especially those female drivers, please share me your experiences. Thanks.

Never drive on highways especially when you're just starting to learn. Yeah, i think it's pretty easy to learn how to drive. I learned how to drive in just 10 days in driving school. My third day, i was already driving the car by myself. I'm pretty sure you can do that too as long as your interest to learn is there. Just always keep in mind to press the brake. It might save your life and your family. Forget everything but never forget the brakes. Learn to drive in a carless area. This way you'll be free from collisions. Plus you don't have to hurry to position your car just in case. Drive slowly at first until you got your rhythm. Left foot stays on the cluth. All the time! Right foot alternates with brakes and gas.

eversince i wish to have my own car and love to drive. For now i am starting to learn driving and i guess its quite easy as long as you are focus on your driving. Driving a car is quite easy compares to driving a motorbike. Hopefull, i can drive by my own within this week. And hopefully can buy my own car.

Hi!I just started to drive for at least two years now,It's quite late,Im in my early forties .I thought I'll never learned. For how many months I was so nervous and jumpy whenever I see big trucks and made me released the clutch abruptly and which always made the car stop .I guessed,it's just a matter of courage, determination to learn.I know you'll get by.feels good when you have your license too.

traffic - clear traffic in front of Trinoma
You know, we have exactly the same fears. When I ride a car or a taxi, I don't want to ride beside the driver because I panic when there are trucks or speeding buses in front of us. I always imagine being hit by them. I still don't know if I can handle my fears, I know I should if I want to have that license. Thanks!

I know very well that you're an excellent dancer! And driving is almost like dancing minus the music. Well, you can always hear a tune in your head so that you will find the activity amusing and entertaining rather than be stuck with a serious expression on your face. When you do start with your lessons, RELAX. BREATHE... and most importantly, pray that you won't hit anything on the road! Just kidding! LOL Have fun driving!

I think learning to drive is fairly easy, but passing the test in the UK is not. The hardest part about driving is anticipating what other drivers will do. If everybody follows the rules it's ok, but here in the UK, a lot of people don't.

That is one of my fears too. No matter how careful and how good you are as a driver, if the rest are irresponsible, driving is still one of the unsafest activities that one can do.

Really, that was quite young. I really admire women who know how to drive. Now, I think I have enough guts to try driving. I'll work more so I can get the car to drive
