The political atmosphere in India is million times more POLLUTED than the rivers flowing near big cities. Politics has become a family business or a business being run by various associates including mafia/criminals. How it can be cleaned? How to encourage the fresh good & young graduates/professionals? How to encourage good people who are employed in private/public sector? How to find out good people? Do we need a system of selection & train them for joining politics? Do we need a system to job security umbrella for the entrants? Do we need to give a thumbs up to any body new & having a clean look? How to do that? Do we need a system to reserve newcomers' seats iun political parties? If yes how to canvass & convince the old people? I invite you to this hot discussions since every new body joining politics has a role to play in our nation building or dragging. Every step taken at the national/state level is affecting our day to day life & our livelihood.

Since politics are people and people are politics, not everyone has the interest to join in politics as it needs a strong charismatic person to become a politician. A person should be intellectually capable and oratory good to make a successful inroad in the world of politics. Young people should take up political science if they are really interested to earn a place in politics.

I know many political people to be very intelligent and knowlegible and instinctive. What impresses is their killer instinct.some of them are very selfish and this very quality makes them good or bad. Selfishness and power makes them corrupt. some of them are not good orators but know when to make a move. What we require is honesty in them.Honesty to live up to their word and to humanity.

I agree about money power but not voting for anybody means escapism. you have to find out less evil amongst the worst evils. Why not to try to bring in good people, encourage good people. If you start today you'll get result not today or tomorrow but some result after 2-3 years. Defining good people is also a problem, but yes young people, students are less corrupt & they have power to bring in change. If a 46 year old can become President of US why some body around that age cannot be some big body in India. Few old people are also very good, why they can't lead us. Please invite your friends to the discussion, something concrete shall come out.Thanks.

Politicians come from the society, where we also live.If political atmosphere in India is polluted then each one of us is to blame for that. We elect them. There is a saying that charity starts from self. Let us first unpollute us.

You are right. Purification should start from self.now we two are together, can u also find more people who believe & act for purification of self & thus the society.Lot of people believe like you & me, can we put together only some of them so that some action starts. Thanks for your comment.
