No one was there for you?

Have you considered yourself to be a good friend most of the time and were there for your friends however you felt betrayed when someone didn't have the time for you? I would like if my friends treated me in the same respect that I treat them.

I do give a lot of myself to my friends in comparison to what they're able to give to me of themselves. I don't like to think about what I'm getting in return when it comes to friendship because I understand my friends have a lot of other things going on and may or may not always be able to be there for me when I'm in need. There have been times in my life when I haven't been able to be there "all the way" for my friends because something else was happening, and I know it hurt them, but it all balances out once an explaination is made.
