SPAM filters - do you use them??

actually i dont use any cos my official mail will not accept any spam and my personal mail is gmail which has spam filters inbuilt...but i get a lot of spam in my junk mail box in gmail

I do get spams too, but not as much like u do.. hehe ^_^ I always choose my sites carefully and thus minimising my spams.. I dun use a specialised filter for my spams, and i only let my email provider do the work for me.. lol =D Most of the time, i will only have 5-10 spams a day, but never have any in my gmail account.. lol =D

I get hundreds of spam emails to my various email accounts every day. I've got Norton working as a filter on those I download to my computer using Windows Mail. I've noticed it is less than brilliant; I should probably look to see if I can tweak the settings a bit.

Yes I too getting lot of spam messages everyday, I'll filter them and move them to spame and protect my inbox to make them diverted to trash or I'll unsubscribe those services. I am using very well know anti virus but it is not the free one I am using a trial one. I'll use always trial one. I knew lot of free one also but they were not protecting many times as we expect. Sometime they will require license to destroy or we need to get paid remover sometime. These all are for some selected kind of virus and trojens can't be erased from the system without the recommended remover but I am manage to remove them all in one action that is my true image.

Well yes i get a lot of spam mail which are actually more of adult mail we all wanna avoid specially us adults....so for my g mail account i can filter using the g mail filter application which filters emails from a particular sender or emails which contain certain keywords or something like that...and its actually very effective ... Do tell me more about your free Microsoft gold filter..

I hate spam as well, I am usually using spam filters but I am worried in case they will block an email I would consider important, so when I am expecting important emails, I turn the filter off temporarily.

I get a lot of spam, but what I do is go and unsubcribe myself and that has stopped it. I would love to use it, instead of doing what i do it takes a lot of time.

Wow, you get that many spam a day? I get lots too but not that much. ..and I didnt know that spam filters are bought. I always thought they come with the mail I mean like in Gmail and Yahoo Mail filters. The Gmail spam filter is awesome. But the Yahoo Mail Spam filter doesnt filter that good. There would be ltos of spams worming its way into my inbox. Those are the only spam filters that I use.
