I am a strong supporter of the fairtax plan, if you haven't heard about you should do some reading to find out how it would work. Our concern tax system is socialistic in nature and hinders some free market activity. The fairtax system would allow for a free market while still supporting the free market, letting true capitalism strengthen our economy. Some say it would only help the rich, that is silly as nobody would pay taxes up to the poverty level. It would encourage new and expanding business and bring new jobs while cutting out lots of wasteful spending. Does anyone have any valid arguments against the fairtax plan? Our current system only helps politcians by creating a false sense of class warfare which they use to get votes.

Can't say I'm a fan of it, but it's a lot better than the scam we have now.

I don't think that the fairtax is perfect, but it is by far the best tax plan I have heard about.
