What do you usually say to yourself?

Admit it, sometimes you do talk to yourself. What do you usually tell yourself? Do you assure yourself of your current status? Do you praise yourself when you manage to do something great or scold yourself when you do something not-so-great? Do you believe it's normal to talk to yourself? I do.

What is "normal"? If everyone or almost everyone does it, it's normal. I think almost everyone talks to themselves now and then. I usually only scold myself (gently) or talk to an object that's got in my way or something like that.

No problem. You did have one of the better responses, I believe. Short but sweet.

I always talk to myself and say: "You can achieve it, i know that you can!" or "You will find a solution, you always find a solution!" lol, it encourages me and give me hope! ^o^

When I'm in my bed and I can't sleep thinking of the things I have to do, I tell myself to get enough sleep so I can do all the things that should be done the following day. And when I am worried about the effects of things that I may have done, I simply calm myself by saying "What is done is done. You can do better tomorrow by resting well today." Usually, those self-talk help me have a good rest and re-invigorated the following morning.
