Wacky Computers

Has your computer ever done anything really weird? For no reason at all that you could figure? For example, I was taking notes in class one day and I pressed in the wrong command and my whole screen turned sideways. Everything worked fine everything was just sideways. Took me a while to figure out how to navigate mouse properly and then restarted, but it didnt help. So I started typing in random buttons I thought I might of pressed to undo it. Finally got it to work and I still dont know how or why or what happened.

That's weird! The only thing that's happened to me is when I hit the wrong button and every email in the trash box tried to open. It froze my computer big time... there must have been a thousand emails in there! I empty the trash more often now. LOL!

Well, we've come to expect everything instantly and it becomes very frustrating when we don't get it! Crashing the computer isn't gonna help much though huh? Lol.

It happened to me many times while i was typing in MS-Word suddenly my brother called me i left the computer and went away i returned back with in 5 minutes i found that backspace had been pressed by the time i returned i found every thing has been erased i forgot save i have to type the whole 7 pages again. I later found that it was my keyboard fault and i replaced the keyboard with a new one.

Computer are useful to us, but if they did not perfom well we will get mad at least i will go mad.

That sounds horrible. I would of gone nuts if something like that had happened to me. Luckily it never really has to the extent it happened to you. So sorry you experienced that, thanks for the response.

When I was in college my printer not the computer i guess...started printing off smiley faces and other symbols from like wingdings or whatever. So I walked away to get a drink while printing my paper to come back to 10 pages of freaking smiley faces. I can laugh about it now, but I was not a happy camper then.

Yikes! That would scare me. Was there a reason that you could ever figure out why it happened? I would just jump to the conclusion my printer was possessed and sprinkle some holy water on it, lol. Thanks for sharing your story.
