Imagine a day without your cell phone

I could probably get by for a day or two without it, but my wife and I don't have a home phone, so I am sure I would need to call someone eventually. We had our home phone disconnected in an effort to save a little money each month. We never really used it anyway, so we really didn't see the point of throwing that money away each month on something that we never used anyway.

hello my dear krupesh Ji, In our family, myself and my hubby, both are without cell-phones and my hubby has some of his reservations on cell phone. He is of the opinion that cell phones are prones to out private life, where we get disturbed every time, it rings. may god bless you and have great time

Oh absolutely! I use my cell phone to take pictures more than I use it to talk or do anything else! And I don't *need* it to take photos, since I own 13 different cameras including a $2,000 professional DSLR. Oh, I also use it as an alarm clock. But that's not a problem since I have an actual alarm clock I could use. (I just hate the annoying buzz it makes, I like having a fun ringtone to wake me up every morning!) Not having a cellphone would only be a problem if there were some emergency. The only time I really use my cellphone is to call my mom, and I see her almost every day anyway. Also, my boyfriend occasionally calls me on my cellphone on his way home from work to figure out what we're doing for dinner and to see if he needs to stop at the grocery store to pick anything up on his way home. And I'm pretty sure we could survive for a week without him doing that.

hi dear in these days it is really difficult to think of a day without the mobile . but i am serious about the ill effects it leaves on us!! one has to have it abut better keep it away at a safe distance!!

Can do for a week without mobile, if it become neccessary, like some bet or anything like that...lol. I cnat even think of doing it unneccesarily

The last time I checked my cellphone is two days ago. Right now it's just stored in a drawer somewhere, on Stand-by Mode. I will check it later for messages, then store it in the drawer again. I do this because I'm not going out of the house anyway. I just stay here and tinker with my laptop and watch the occasional movies on DVD. I don't need my cellphone when I do that, don't I? :p

Yeah I could go a whole day without my mobile phone easily because no one really calls me all that much unless something is going on and usually I know about what's going on already in that kind of a situation. To me phones are kind of worthless but I guess they're necessary in today's society for some reason.

It would drive me insane. I have a Samsung slider phone, so when I'm bored or in an awkward situation I look at the time and slide it up and down. When I don't have it and I'm in an awkward situation I go to grab it and it's not there! Drives me crazy. lol
