Do you stop doing something because you have a bad start?

I have a real big problem which is that I always stop doing something when I have a bad start doing it. Maybe I am a perfectionist or maybe I am just lazy. Sometimes when I want to wash the clothes and someone is using the bathroom, i'll delay it and ion many occasions, I will end up not washing the clothes. I am a little bit superstitious especially in the early morning where I woke up and when there's someone in the toilet when I am about to take the bath then I will feel that today might not be so good and then I go to the lift and it is going up when I am going down then I feel bad again. It is a ridiculous thing and I am slowly trying to break this habit. How about you guys? Do you feel or act the same way?

The phenomenon occurs because of many reasons. The first and foremost reason is the lack of interest. There is another variation to it.When you are about too doing something new. But after starting you came to know that it is not that interesting or it is not what you thought it was. Another reason is laziness. You plan things, but when the time comes you will be more preoccupied with the pleasure of sitting simply or enjoying something that may not contribute to your growth. And you just postpone it.
