I asked the lady at MC'Ds this morning because I talk to her everyday..She said he told her that he wanted to pay it's a sign of good luck or something like that..I did see a cutie in the drive thru that morning though...lol Whatever his reason it was super nice of him...and the lady that works there said people do that all the time...

That's really great! Where I'm from we have a couple of radio stations that actually set up a day to do that kind of thing. They have people print a letter off of their web page and hand it to the cashier to give to the person they paid for, basically just saying to have a nice day and that they aren't nuts! I love hearing stories of it actually happening to someone.

WOW $900 and it was still there now that is something that does NOT happen too often. You were soooo lucky. I never carry around more than $100. I give checks for big things like rent. It was very nice of that guy to pay for your coffee maybe someday you will get to thank him. Welcome to MyLot.

Yeah, I thought it was so nice.. It just drives you crazy not knowing who it is..I lost my wallet one time a couple years ago on Easter actually in a Walmart parking lot..A few hours later I pulled up in my driveway and there was a couple of young guys walking up asking for me and I had no idea who they were and they had asked me did you loose something? I freaked out because I had no idea I lost my wallet I had $900 cash in it for rent..And these guys returned it all..I have no idea who they are or anything they were gone in the blink of an eye..so I guess you could say I got my Easter miracle..

That is a awesome gesture, he must been having a great morning. I never had someone do that for me. Too bad you were not able to thank the guy. Some people are really nice like that, I know people in my life have done nice things for me before but I knew them well. Like one night I wanted to order pizza and I had no money well I was shocked when about an hour later I had pizza man at my door, he said someone had paid for it for me. I found out later it was my mom but I thought that was really sweet that she did that for me. See there are still good people out there, I feel the world needs more people to share like that. Welcome to mylot brownbell and I hope you enjoy being here, happy mylotting

It is the little things in life that can make such a difference. It started your day off with a smile and a good feeling about the world and that's wonderful. I think the fact that he drove off without waiting for a thank you means he was just a nice man looking to brighten your day. I also commend the employee who was honest enough to to give you the coffee. We hear so much bad in this world it is wonderful to hear some good. Welcome to MYLOT.

That's very nice of him. Sounds like a random act of kindness. There are good people out in this world still.

Huh, I don't know what to think about that. He was either very nice, or he knows who you are, and that could be kinda scary. With all of the bad people in our world I would be very cautious. Who knows, maybe I am looking too far into the situation.

I thought about it...and I was thinking if I was that guy. It would be cool just to make someones day. I would rather think of it that way than in a bad way. And...it was McD's...how much could it be. A couple of bucks at the most.

Someimes it takes something very easy and small to make someone else's day and yet it seems to be a dying practice. So I would encourage everyone out thereto do a go deed for someone else once in a while. Just never put yourself in danger whilst doing it, of course.
