The myLot digest

Until recently, the most responses I got to my discussions here was nine. A couple of days ago I started one that made it into the myLot daily digest with 23 responses. Now it has 35, which is brilliant. I wonder if some of the later responders came to it from the digest. Do you think it helps to be listed in the digest? Every day I try to respond to at least one discussion from the digest. What notice do take of the digest?

I think the daily digest for myLot it great, as I can respond to questions of members I have never responded to before. And that it a great way of getting to make friends on the site. :-) Derek

You are right, Derek. And you do get a good feeling when one of your discussions is listed there.

Congrats Jean, You finally made it to the daily digest. Yes it helps to be in the digest..Usually when someone answers your discussion, it will be shown again on the top discussions for the day, so someone picks it up again, and then it goes back and the cycle goes on. Every time someone answers, it goes back to the today's top page and is visible for others to comment on. Keep posting, cheers and happy mylotting.

I think it really helps to be on the digest, I've never been there, still working on it.

Well savypat. I can see you are working hard with all the discussions you start. guess it probably depends on the number of discussions and responses on the day. I probably hit lucky on rather a poor day. Good luck.

yeah i think it does help being in the digest because whenever i come on to mylot i atleast answer one discussion from the mylot digest. I dont think i ever been on the digest cant really remember, but i have got discussions that went upto 30 responses. Discussions that get loads of responses come up on HOT tab and TODAYS TOP tab as well as mylot digest so i guess its not only the mylot digest that can attract more responses.
