These commercials SUCK

No, I am not a football fan, and the only reason I watched any of the Super Bowl tonight is to hang with my hubby and to watch the commercials - because the half-time show was awful...
So far - with about less then a munite to go, I think that Denny's had the best commercial. That is really the only one I remember. I know there was one with the horses, isn't that budwiser??? And I just saw a stupid one for godaddy, but it was about the same as their first one a few years ago.
I guess everyone's caught up in the money crunch because most of the commercials were for NBS weekly shows...

i like the halftime show with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. lol he only performed three songs. i thought he would have done Born In The USA thou. and i noticed the commercials for the NBC shows as well. i liked the horse commercials the best also. and i liked the one where mr potato head and his wife were riding along in the car and she lost her lips. lol and tomorrow is the free grand slam breakfast at Denny's restaurant's. i do not know where that a Denny's is close by to me. i will have to look them up in the telephone book to see where one is around here and then decide if i want to drive across town or not.

I was kinda dissappointed with Springsteen... It seemed like "same ol' same ol' "...
I did like the Denny's commercial though, I really laughed at that one...

I just returned from Sweden as well and it is just hilarious to see this, the club scene is kind of like this, so all the better.

Since I have no connections to Sweden (or Conan) it did nothing for me. But I can see why it would appeal to those have do.

I think the commercials were so-so this year, even though we did laugh at most of them. When the GoDaddy commercial came on we were pretty much disgusted. We had an all girl SuperBowl party and that thing just hit us wrong. But at least it was a great game.

I was really shocked at the end when I heard that the Steelers came up from behind to win. When I stopped watching it they were slaughtering the Cardinals (I think that's who they were playing...). I guess I missed all the excitement at the end, I was in here goofing off on the computer.

I don't think we can use the word slaughter. The Steelers were only up by 10 at the most. The Cardinals did great for a team that wasn't even supposed to be in the playoffs. I always love the under dog. It was a lot of fun watching, bar the couple of bad commercials. Plus I heard that Cable customers were interrupted by a p*rn flick when the Cardinals went ahead. Woee!!!!!

I just watched all 20 and out of them there was only 4 that I thought were half way decent and I liked. They were: the bugs that steal the Coke, the Pedigree one, the Budweiser one where the two horses fall in love and the last one with the lizards dancing. I didn't care for the rest of them and some were plain stupid.

Wow... I don't remember those at all! Of course I think I had 4 bloody mary's during the game... And I stoppped watching it when my husband went to bed - 3rd quarter I think. I just thought they were very disappointing. What I remember of them anyways!
