First words!!

My youngest daughter is about to turn one in two weeks time and she has been vocal for sometime and will try to copy me if I make noises. However she will not form any real words yet apart from DADADADADADA for everything!!
I can't wait to her her first real word and I am curious to hear what first words your little one came out with!!

My daughter's first real word was 'mommy' and this was a couple of months before she turned one.I remember reading to her a lot of children's books and it paid off.I didn't have a hard time teaching her how to communicate and express her thoughts.Happy lottin...

Both my girls repeated the sounds of mama and dada from about 7 months but their first real words were they knew what they were saying my eldest was 1 and it was "hello" my youngest was about 11 months and it was "daddy" x

My son was around one maybe right before it when he could say mama and then dada. His actual first word though was ball. I can't remember when he said it though.
