Have you changed your calender to February yet?

This is kind of like a "how lazy are you" discussion :) I have spent all day starring at the teeny tiny Febraury box on the "next month" spot of my calendar. Meanwhile, it's still set to January. Why is it that I am so lazy about this? It takes 10 seconds to take down my calendar, flip the page, and put it back up! But it seems that whenever I need to know a date real fast, that is when I notice the calendar isn't flipped yet, but at the same time I don't want to lose my train of thought :-D I'm finally flipping my calendar to february after looking at the mini-feb square for the whole day :) It finally bothered me enough to get off my butt and flip it! How about you? Do you leave your calendar or are you real meticuluous about flipping it as soon as the month changes?

Haha, I am way ahead of you today! I flipped my office calender when I left for the day on Friday afternoon. I was all set for February today! Now as for my small wall calender, I see it is still on the January page...so hang on a minute and I'll flip it over too! Ok, all done! I keep the wall calender up just for the nice photographs :) I tend to forget to change it every month for some reason! I remember one month when I noticed that it hadn't been flipped it was 3 months behind! Now THAT'S lazy!!

Haha on Friday I remember saying to myself that I should do that, and then I didn't!! I totally forget b/c, after all, it was Friday and by the time it hit 5 I just wanted to go home :) I have known ppl who don't flip the calendar if they really like the current picture, however I really need to see the date constantly during work, especially when I'm scheduling things. I know we all have calendars on our computer, but when you are in the middle of an email it's easier to glance at the wall and see the dates. I had a CW once who did that, left it behind for months! Everytime I came over she'd say "oh I gotta change that calendar" and then never did. Haha.

I have to admit that I use my desk calender for most things. The one on the wall is for the pretty pictures :)

I know what you mean! I'm surprised how easy its been for me to start writing 2009 :) I think it's because my nephew only knew the number 9 for the last few months so I always said he's getting us ready for 2009 :)

I'm surprised my home calendar wasn't changed because my husband usually is on top of that, but I just checked and it wasn't changed either :) Sometimes I do look forward to the picture - usually I have pets :)

Oh, its February already? My calendar is still stuck on December from 2008. I guess I need to go out and by a new one with the current year. Even when I do I'll prolly turn it to January anyways and be stuck there for a few months. Who says you can't live in the past, lol.

Ha :) That is one thing I am good at is bringing in my new calendar. I get a lot of them from places I've donated to in the past, so as soon as I get it in the mail I put it in my work bag and bring it in right away.

to be honest with you, i don't have a calendar in my house for this year and i don't plan to have one as well... i just use the calendar on my computer... it is cheaper and more convenient... :-) when i still have a calendar, i am also lazy to flip it when the month changes... that's why i prefer to just use the calendar in my computer now...

calendar - My son likes to change the calendar
This is a very interesting topic. My son likes to change the calendar. And he already removed the page of January as it's February now. I don't have to worry about it because of him:) I love China

Haha, you are the second person that said that. I think a lot of people don't care in december and don't think about getting a new calendar b/c we are all so excited for the christmas break and new years break :)

You know what, I don't have to worry about changing my calendar anymore because I use digital ones that adjust by itself. Hurray for technology! I look at my desktop calendar and the one on my cellphone. Those are the only 2 calenars that I use for my day-to-day activities. i think it's a lot simpler this way. When you need to tear your calendar or flip it to the next page, you sometimes forget to do it. But it's very easy to do anyway it shouldn't be a problem at all.

Well I do use the desktop one and the cellphone and the Outlook one, sometimes when I'm in the middle of an email and I just need to write the date for something, I just want to glance up. What day is next Thursday? All I gotta do is look up and see rather than opening other things.

ROFL that is too funny! I am very meticulous about this task. I usually flip mine over before the month ends, Unless I just have an appointment on the last few days or something I will flip it over as much as a week ahead of time. Drives my husbad insane If I was as meticulous about a few other things I would be a lot better off but this is on my list! LOL

I can't seem to flip it before the month ends usually. Usually I THINK about doing it, but then by the end of the day I forget and then by the time I come back the next month starts and I don't even notice. It's better to be meticulous about somethings than forgetful about everything :)

I'm glad you said that! Today is my official day for turning over the calendars in my kitchen. One has kitties and the other is a magnet on my fridge. I'm so used to the time being changed automatically that I almost forgot! thanks!

I still haven't switched it and truthfully I will probably forget to do it before I go to bed tonight. I usually change it in the morning if I remember but sometimes it can take me a couple of weeks before I remember to do it. I guess part of the reason is because I have so many other things to do during the day that it just isn't something that I consider to be important.

haha, that's exactly how I am. Someone can remind me about little things like this and I'll STILL forget! I think we all just have too much on our minds now-a-days!

GUESS WHAT!I havent even gotten me a calendar yet!! Not that I am downright lazy, I have a baby and my outings are few and far between, plus I am not willing to settle for one of those silly calendars that are so popular here, I want a calendar thats a pleasure to look at. I am the kinda gal that tears out calendar pictures and stashes them away forever, so that makes me so picky. Bad that I am living without any calendar till the second month of the year, though!

My clipped kitty calender - This calender was specific with it's dates for 2008, it also named the type of days aswell as the 'numbers'. I saved the images because they look nice. It's like an extra portrait on the wall that changes each month ;-)
I don't have a 2009 calender yet. The last one I had was specific for each date (it named the day etc. aswell) so I decided not to use it for this year and be on the look out for a non-specific birthday calender which I can use every year. Unfortunatly I am pretty picky so I haven't got a new one yet! . I did keep a part of my old calender; I clipped away all the dates and kept the cute kitten images that were at the top of each month. So it does show february but not which date it is. I am mostly pretty on time with these things, I changed the calender on february second.

Usually its halfway through the next month before I remember that I need to change the calender. My husband will assume I have changed it and then gets confused until he sees that hes on the wrong month and changes it. Right now I don't even have a calender since its the new year. Usually I get a free calendar at the store when I buy things or my mother will buy me a new calendar but so far this year lol we still don't have a calendar. I really don't need a wall calendar though because I have a daily planner that I look at everyday that has the appointments and information I need. I usually don't even write anything on the wall calendar. When we have a wall calendar my husband is usually the only one who uses it and that is only occasionally as well.

I do not have a physical calendar on my desk or one that I hang on a wall. My only calendars are on my computer and Ipod Touch or cellphone. These devices automatically change the month without me having to.

thanx for reminding...every month i used to change my calander month second week of the month..lol...we all have cell phones so we never see calender for date. everything date, planning everything would be done in cell phone itself. so no one is bother about changing calender promptly.
