Everyone has the duty to patriotism. In my county, the ruling party ask us not only love my country, but also love the ruling party. I do not think we have responsibility to love a party, friend, what's the matter in your country?do you think we have responsibility to love a party? thanks very much.

you should never love a party becouse if you do your going to back up every descision they make no matter if it's good or bad just becouse of the fact that you love them. If you love your country that's fine but you should not have to do it. If you like the party than vote for them but they can't demand of you to love them becouse that's your choice.

You should check her profile before answer. So you could better understand the meaning of her words, and you also could avoid to talk about something that is a nonsense related to her country, like "if you like the party then vote for them... "

Honestly I don't think humans have any responsibility to be patriotic or especially to support the ruling party. My allegiance is with God and my patriotism is simply living on God's land. Land does not belong to anyone but God.

You live in China? Well, I'm a Chinese citizen as well. Here's an interesting thing. Everyone should be patriotic, but being patriotic doesn't necessarily mean being loyal to the ruling party. The leaders of the Chinese Communist Party know that in order to maintain its domination of Chinese politics, the Party has to provide well being to the people and try to battle flaws within the government as hard as possible. They claim that the goverment is the government of people. That is why it can't rule if it loses the support of the vast citizens,it will surely lose power. Another thing is about Chinese democracy. China has a very large population and a general election will cost billions of dollars. In addition, the majority of Chinese citizens don't have the political acumen and are easily swayed by agitation. They will not make the right decision for the country.

Thanks for your information.I'm chinese too.I do not think the big cost is a hindrance of general election,we can host the Olympic Game, why cannot we spend money on election? You said Chinese are easily swayed by agitation, yes, you are right. But the most important thing is why chinese are so easily swayed?

Love is given, not demanded. Countries that do so are brainwashing their citizens. To be forced to love party OR Country is wrong. It should be a place so great, that you love it because you are there! I dont think there should be responsibility to love a party, that love comes from respect. I love my Country, but not always (in fact, seldom!)the ruling party.

This party should be elected out of power in the next election. The request just shows how much disregard it has to a citizens right to choose anything that he like(which is lawfull). The party is telling you to lay down your identity and rights and act as a party machinery. In my state, although it is democratic, there are some communist parties which just survives not because of their good works, but because there is a lot of people who are forced to be their intellectual slaves. The party will tell these poor and vulnerable of the society that they are their only saviours. The result is that they are elected for alternatives terms. The result is that we have to suffer their misrule and ideological stupidity. They wont allow any private investement to come to the state and will wreck havoc in the educational system by trying to turn it into a party machinery. But the good thing is that after each five year term they will be voted out as the swing voters turn against. But again due to the mass support from the poor people they will unleash false propaganda against the ruling party even for the minutest of the thing and will again come to power. The parties only need to rule for the welfare of the people. But they can't dictate what the people should do. If any party is doing such propaganda then be aware that they are into something fishy.
