Shoes sold in kilo by weight!

I read in the newspaper, that Koreans have the practice of sell clothing by weight. Now comes the selling of shoes by weight. Sales boards read that Adult Shoes: Korean $ 1200 per 100 grams, that is about RMB 100 per pair, or $15 per pair. What special promotion do you have in your place?

is that selling one pair of shoes they sell that way or is that the way they sell bulk buys of their shoes, it seems a strange way to sell shoes and clothing.

you can buy either one pair or bulk, just a way to promote.

Wow, this is a bit strange for me. I never had any idea about suck kind of marketing. Here in my country, we pay as per the quality, brand and design of products (cloths & shoes).

The catchy word that works to misled consumer in my place is 'Buy One Free Two' which only miss the point of saying that they are clearing the stock or the goods are near its expiry date.
