Do you think mylot is eating too much of your time?

After learning about mylot, I just got hooked. I've been flagged before and I thought I was a goner but here I am still alive and mylotting. But I feel that I have paid less attention on a lot of important things because of the time I spent in this site. I am afraid that this is turning to be a bad habit. How about you? Do you sometimes feel guilty of the things you have neglected because of mylotting? Or are you still able to manage your time wisely?

Hey Theresaaiza! Yes, I do think that I spend way too much time on mylot too! In fact, my boyfriend gets really upset with me because everytime he comes home from work he finds me on the computer and he thinks that I am on here all day while he is at work and I'm not! I have Insomnia and I tend to stay up very late at night and I am on the computer. I love it here being with the wonderful friends that I have made and I do sometimes neglect my chores. I know that I am addicted to mylot but I don't care! It makes me happy!

When I first found mylot I had a lot of time on my hands because I had just broke my truck and had no way to do my real life job. Now that I have transportation again I am having to find a balance. It hasn't been to hard because I am very good at multi tasking.

No I don't think so I think that it actually helps me to get some savings put away and it actually pays you. I only get on mylot when I have some down time like when my girlfriend is at work or sleeping. Otherwise I don't really get on mylot that much but I find that if you get on and just reply to all the discussions that look interesting and only post good discussions then mylot is a really good website for earning money.

I did not feel that way at all because I already set in my mind that this would be my limit, that I have to review and that I have to work. It is eating my time when I have so much time to stay here and then am busted with running out of idea. It happens really especially when the mind is working all day and got stuck when it's tired. You see, my stay here in Mylot is just a spare time, that's why I do not bother much if I only posted 3 - 5 discussions/response a day. I love it and enjoy it because it is part of my passion to write and share my opinion. If you think you are hooked with it, then cut off. Have a limit. It's just a matter of discipline. Keep your priorities.

For a while it was. I am on the computer constantly anyway, and when I found myLot and the earning potential, I made it a point to spend the vast majority of my time here. It paid off because I did get my payout easily every month, but not without cost to other things. I did that for months! Things happened and I had to stop spending so much time anywhere online for a few days, and then it just stretched longer and longer, until it was too hard to come back and get into the groove of things. I am not here often at all anymore, and in a way I'm sorry. I miss the earnings, but for some reason with me it's 'all or nothing' - just a quirk of my personality, I guess. I have since found other things to do online and yep, you guessed it - following the same scenario I did here!

Yes, exploring the internet world outside mylot won't hurt much! I might end up doing the same way anyway. Thanks!

No, I don't think that myLot is going take much time. I just spend my leisure time doing some post in here. So I won't feel like that. I think that if someone in here looking to earn some money or much money, so they need to spend their much time in here. But for others that want to enjoy or share their experience in here so they will find a good time or maybe their leisure time to take part in here. For you, maybe you need to manage your time. Search a little time maybe two hours that you a free from your job then start posting in here. So you won't like that again. Keep post Happy myLotting...

Hi Theresaaiza, for me, I know I spend less time at mylot, because too many thing I need to do, I only spend my time about one or two hours at mylot, so I am too slow to reach my payment.

hello theresaaiza it is wonderful news to know that you are also hooked here at Mylot. some days, i find myself Mylotting almost all afternoon and enjoying it. other days, i might not have as much time to Mylot as i would like to. for my Mylotting time, it just depends on what day of the week that it is and what that i have going on that day. and i think that most of us around here at Mylot have been flagged at one time or another. take care and have a beautiful afternoon.

Maybe your mylot life and mylot mood is based upon the cosmos, or astrology or horoscope. Just kidding. It's your avatar that's making me think of those stuffs. LOL

Before i thought i was spending less quality time with my family because of myLotting. But then i realized that i'm earning here and i'm just not slacking. One whole day of myLotting is just not enough for me. Now i'm here in Manila and computer-less, i have no choice but to use my phone to myLot. Now i feel that i'm neglecting myLot and friends (...sounds like lotlot and friends lol!). My output has become drastically low that's why i'm making up for lost time.

well if you really want to earn alot from this site then you should spend most of the time with it. I think you can do alot of things all together...you can multitask...don't forget your obligations...they are important too...

Hi there. Well, there was a time when I spend an unreasonable amount of time on myLot, back when I was new on the site. But then, it didn't take long for me to get bored of the site so I took a break and then, when I returned to my myLot habit, I just found that it was something I began to do only in my spare time, when I didn't have anything I otherwise had to do. Now, I'm trying to be more active again since I could really use the spare cash at the moment. So yeah...

I noticed that too. When I was really new here, I wasn't that hooked because I didn't have many friends yet. Lately, despite the increasing number of friends, I realized that I can try to leave off mylot to make way for some things more important.

Mylot indeed is a very interesting site for shared opinions and vast topics under the sun.. I don't believe that it's a BAD habit to be hooked here in MYLOT... ^_^

I think mylot was created for a good intention. It's us who sometimes tend to neglect some things because off too much addiction on something. That's how it becomes a bad habit.

Hi there, I haven't been here very long and I agree MyLot is very addicting. But I do prioritize my life around it. I'm usually on here first thing in the morning and again in the evening after I come home for work. When I have nothing important going on during the day, then I find myself logged into MyLot for hours on end. ~proudnana~

Hi proudnana. The best thing about mylot is that it doesn't take you a long time to get used to it. Other benefits are countless including the earnings of course. LOL Well, as for me, sometimes, everything else just seems to disappear and that is bad because there are priorities compromised because of too much mylotting. I also knew some interesting people who are fun to mylot with that's why I was hooked. Good thing I could stay off mylot at times without experiencing too much side effects. LOL

i haven't ignored anything that needs to be done so far. i'm not always looking forward to log in... there are other things i love doing outside of the internet. but i've been addicted to games before, and it seemed like i was at it every single day. so far, i haven't stayed on for very long, and i don't log on if there are things i have to finish. but it is easily understandable if it becomes addicting. people getting to say whatever they want, with almost (i said almost hehe) no consequences... that should be really tempting, right? and you get to share views with a lot of other people all around the world. hop you don't get too hooked. :D take a breather once in a while. watch out for the lunar eclipse this february 9. that should distract you for a while, enough to "unhook" you. :D the eclipse is visible in the philippines at around 10 to 11 pm, if i'm not mistaken...

I love eclipses...not that I start howling like a mad dog everytime it comes. LOL. Nah, I'm not really a certified addict. I can unhook myself sometimes without any withdrawal symptoms or anything. LOL. But I admit of getting a little bit depressive when I can't log on. You're a doctor, right? So it's understandable that there are more important things to attend to before anything else. More power to you, doc! Ciao
