This movie is so moving and makes you feel their love for each other and that angels do exist in the world. They won't looks like how they are portrayed in paintings, storybooks or movies. Anyone can be your angel, they just have to have the purest of intentions. I know people have lost loved ones in their lives. Have you thought on what those loved ones left in your because of them? The way you think, feel or see things in life? Do you treasure moments a lot more because of this?

I love this movie as well. I have never lost someone too close to me. My grandmother has passed away and she was probably the closest person to me that I have ever lost. But we did not grow up around her so it is not a loss I feel every day because I grew up with seeing her only every couple of years. I also think the loss was not as great because I know that I will see her again someday at the end of this earthly life. That I look forward to. Yet still this movie touches my heart. I think it is because of the faith that the young man gains as he is touched by this girl. It is interesting to me how each of us can have an impact on another persons life. Whether for good or bad. Hopefully for the good. I have thought about the legacy that my grandmother has left behind. I have thought about how a part of her is in me because of the way that she raised my father. Her influence has touched my life in a very great way because of the kind of mother she was to my father. I will be forever grateful to her for that.

I do believe that everyone is put in this world for a purpose. Good or bad it may be, it's still a purpose. It could be for each other to evolve as a person, as a human being for better or worse. People do make you grow as a person and helps mold you for who you are today.

My mom lost the love of her life too early. I am absolutely head over heels in love with my boyfriend and I thought guys like him did not exist. He truly treats me like a Disney Princess. =] However, I feel like I'm always scared something will happen to him because he's such a good person with a good heart and my mom lost her love, why should I be special and not? That's silly I know, but I'm trying to get rid of that stupid fear. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

It's not rare for someone to have a fear of losing something or someone precious to them. And yeah, I do agree. You just have to try and not think like that. Just enjoy every moment.

Me too. I cry every time. I just love everything between Shane West & Mandy Moore in this movie - they're both AMAZING actors. Have you read the book? (It's by Nicholas Sparks). I have, and I have to say - somehow, it's even better than the movie. I personally haven't experienced any deaths in my family so profoud as Landon experiences in this movie (and I don't know if I'm thankful for that or not!), but I imagine that if I lost someone very close to me (like a husband), it would change my whole view on life, love, and loss.

i love this movie, it's a sad movie, i think the writer of the book (the movie was based on a book right?) is a christian, one of my cousins mentioned. so the story also speaks of the christian faith... and i think mandy did great in this movie. i really appreciate it. and the actors as well....
