My husband and i have lived in our house for over 5 years now and I have to say that I am very dissapointed. This is not what we had in mind, we were expecting a much better place to raise our children. I have found that over the course of about 4 years, the crime in our block has gone up more than it's share. We have a dealer living across the street from us, and the police have visited more than a few times. We also have a few very rowdy people on the block who fight outside andblast their music. As if that isn't bad enough, my husband and I also have a crack addic living across the alley from us. I have to say that I am very dissapointed in this neighborhood and in a few years, my husband and I will be moving to a safer place. I would like to hear from you, have you noticed and increase in crime in your blook? Do you feel safe in your home? Do you ever wonder what you can do to make things better?

My neighborhood has gotten much worse over the past year. Break-ins used to be nonexistent, but then we had a rash of home burglaries; even my next-door neighbor was a victim. It's quite sad and does make one feel unsafe, but I'm not sure there's really any truly safe place out there. I am seriously thinking about moving when I can afford to do so, though.

My neighborhood was worse when I first moved in. When we moved in we really didn't know what the neighborhood was like but we soon found out. But since the bad apples moved out it has been much more peaceful and I don't mind living here as much. But we still are planning on moving someday soon.

I think since there are only about 2,500 people in my town crime is not as much of a problem, but our house still has been robbed about 3 times.
