Yeah, I find laugh tracks annoying as well...or, to be more exact, it's how laugh tracks are used that's the most annoying thing! Personally, I'm only going to laugh out loud a couple of times even when I'm watching a show I find really funny -- if you're going to have a laugh track, you should at least save it for the really funny moments.  I also joined that site a year or so ago. Unfortunately, I was unable to link my AdSense account with my Rateitall account -- it seemed to work from the AdSense side of things but not on the Rateitall side. I contacted support to try to get the problem resolved but never got a response so I just gave up on the site. Maybe I'll try contacting support again, but it's not a site I see mentioned by... |

I've seen this too and find it puzzling. The only time it sort of makes sense is when a rotator is being advertised -- I can understand why people would want to advertise all their sites in a rotator instead of buying ads for each individual site they belong to and want to promote. Do you use the NoScript add-on with Firefox? It blocks scripts from being executed on web sites unless they're on sites you explicitly trust. I've found it to be the best way to protect myself from rogue advertisers. My guess is you didn't get the viruses from the PTC itself, but from one of the ads...good site owners try to keep on top of the ads, but it's very easy for bad things to slip thro... |

Good for you...that's shareholder democracy in action. Was your vote related at all to the All My Children and One Life to Live cancellations? I've noticed that a lot of people are mentioning that they're still actively boycotting ABC over that decision -- the effort seems to have more legs than the usual network boycott. You can always use Alertpay funds to advertise on any site. I've been debating myself on what to do with my MM funds...I think I will either cashout with AlertPay and advertise or just buy advertising directly on MatrixMails. I'd been planning on waiting for PayPal to come back, but who knows when that will happen. |

To be fair, there's a big variance in opinion about the show. You might still want to give it a try and make up your own mind -- I think there's only going to be 6 or 8 episodes made altogether so you don't need to worry about getting too far behind to catch up! |

Yeah, I actually liked how it was filmed too. The scenery and setting were quite good; I don't know if it was shot on location in Brazil, but the footage of the river and the surrounding landscape was excellent. It also was fast-paced which is good for a scary show and definitely established a menacing atmosphere...unfortunately, the focus on keeping the action going contributed to the bad char... |
