This morning I wake up and open firefox. WTF, home page is not loading, same for back, forward and other buttons. My bookmarks: GONE. History: GONE. I search around and I find a trick, delete every sqlib-something file. I do it, I relaunch Mozilla and... WTF. My 1-year old bookmarks are now there, but they're the OLD ones. And history still gone Shocked what the hell is wrong with this Shocked

To give a quick try fixing it - Use Windows Restore utility to restore your Windows to a previous day - a date when everything was working fine and bookmarks were there.

That does not sound like some thing that I would want to happen to me. I would be lost without my bookmarks and stuff. I love firefox and have never had a problem with it.

To avoid this, you must have used Fox mark, an additional utility in the fire fox. Then your bookmarks would have been stored in their server. If you do so, you can retrieve any where and when ever you want.

Fire fox gave in on me too.. I used fire fox last year as my primary search engine , then one day i got up and turned my pc on to find that it would just not load up at all. I simply reverted back to internet explorer. Hope you resolve your problem mate.. Im not very 'up' on firefox, or i would offer some help
