When you got new clothes, how do you treat your old rags? There are always old rags or some clothes you don not want to wear again. Then do you want to donate them for charity, sell them in a moving sale, or just throw them away?

I wear my clothes until they are not fit to give to charity, and half of them come from charity shops to start with! I make things with them. Hot-water bottle covers, patchwork things like cushion covers. T-shirts I cut up and make rugs with them or use them for dusters. Jumpers, I keep to use for cat blankets. I don't really throw anything away until it is completely worn out!

I never just throw them away. The things that are beyond wear are used around the house eg for the dog, cleaning rags etc. Some my eldest has for her teddies. Some I sell but not for much and anything else usable is sent to the charity shop, after my niece has had her pick. It's easy to reuse/sell/give to family & friends, don't ever just throw them in the bin x
