have you tried eating 2 bananas in the morning, without having anything, the japanese have found that diet effective and very healthy to start the day, but if we fond of eating real breakfast , it would be hard to eat banana alone, unless you have the spirit of dieting, but it think it's worth trying for those who would like to diet.

I like to eat bananas too but i am not dieting, i am using banana to gain weight. If Japan is taking banana for breakfast, i am taking banana in the afternoon and night after a meal. I have heard that when you eat banana in the morning till afternoon you can still enjoy eating what you like, but after 8pm you wont be taking any food at all, but you may take liquids.

It sounds strange to have only banana as breakfast... I wonder if they have enough energy to continue working for whole day... But I did hear people said that this way of dieting is very popular in Japan. This makes banana expensive, and monkeys don't have enough bananas to eat!

I eat banana every morning usually with my breakfast meal.Banana is loaded with various nutrients but very high in potassium use to prevent blood clotting, but based on many health bulletin I had read, eating banana doesn't contribute to any weight gain in fact it can help control our weight gain.

I have heard from my friends that eating 2 pieces of bananas in the morning is an effective way to lose weight. I have not tried doing it yet but maybe tomorrow I will. The good part is that bananas can be easily found and it's also very full of nutrients and could contribute to your body's energy needs.

What I know of bananas is that it is rich in potassium and it adds to your weight because it is a muscle builder. I would still eat breakfast, lunch and dinner because it is much healthier than starving yourself. The best diet is to eat food in moderation and be more physically active.

I like bananas, different kinds too. But, not in place of breakfast. I eat bananas after lunch and dinner. It is more of a dessert to me.

I think bananas are great! They are by far one of the easiest fruits to eat because you don't need to wash them before you eat! They are also full of natural sugars so are great for you giving you a bit of a healthy energy boost if you are feeling slightly worn out. I don't know if I could have bananas for breakfast everyday though - have to admit I do like my tea and toast in the mornings. But bananas are an ideal daytime snack!
