As a child, my brothers and I had more freedom watching movies on weekends. That was the time when we could still afford it, so we could watch new movies every week. If there was nothing good in the small town where we lived in the province, we would splurge on ice cream and cola. Yes, cola was a treat for us then something we did not have everyday.
I guess the first movie that I can recall ... |
 | anne25penn responded to a discussion called Do you have an alternative name for "grandmother?" in questions & answers. 1 day ago
It took years for my mother to get used to being called grandma by my niece and nephew and she's not young when my brother had his kids. She was very happy when my niece called her mama instead of grandma when she was a baby. Kids will always find a pet name for you, something that they will find easy to remember. |

Facebook is a very good social site that connects a lot of old friends. My highschool and grade school friends uploaded our class pictures too and we were all laughing at ourselves on how we used to look then. But it can be used as evidence to show that we were not this fat when we were young![em]rasp[/em] People think that because we are chubby now, we have always been chubby. And when I point... |
 | anne25penn responded to a discussion called USB Electric Heated Mouse Pad--Do you use it to keep your hand warm? in laptop. 9 hours ago
Wow! I never knew that there is such a thing. I don't use a mousepad and am fortunate to live in a tropical country so I have no need for one. But this innovative gadget can help those living in countries that are terribly cold come wintertime. Thank you for sharing this gadget. I now know what to give my thirteen year old nephew for Christmas[em]happy[/em]. |

I have a pair of wedges that I really love but cannot find the right occasion to wear them. It looks real nice with jeans and its about five or six inches, I also bought it at half price[em]happy[/em]. I love them, but can't wear them because it makes me look more like a giant because I am quite tall. |

I also like the smell of freshly baked bread. I only bake on two occasions, which is Christmas and New Year's because we have visitors over. I make my bread a day before the guests arrive and I know that the smell of bread baking is well appreciated by neighbors by the number of kids hanging outside our gate. I do give them some, if I can make some extra. As for your question regarding preservi... |

I can't blame your daughter. My cellphone has more pictures of my cat than of myself. Thank you for your response! |

I am just an inch taller than you, but here in my country my height makes my head stand out in a crowd literally. I always wear flats but I do own a pair of killer heels for special occasions. |
