I have always maintained that Mel gibson is one of the greatest actors of all times. He is truly a versatile player who injects passion in anything he does and that also applies to his directing .He is still to produce a flop. The movie breaveheart was a gem,I didnt cry but I got a little misty at certain point during the movie. One thing is certain the many twists and turn surely had me on the edge of my seat.

Hello dlr297! I also love that movie a lot. We watched it many times. I remember watching it when I was 10 or something but I really don't understand or I haven't appreciate the movie yet. So when I tried to watch it again when I was in highschool, then I fully understand and appreciate the beauty of the story. The story really made me cry. I might watch it again tonight online.

Yep-it's an Entertaining Movie based on some historical events and personages-Historical,yes,historically accurate,no..apparently,the romantic interlude with the French Queen never actually happened as She and Wallace never had a chance to meet during his lifetime..take a look at the bloopers section about the movie on www.imdb.com

I did enjoy the movie. Although I never cried while watching the movie, I do think that it's a sad story. I think that it's a good movie. I really do enjoy the story that it has to share.

I didn't cry but I did enjoy the movie. It is certainly a masterpiece. If Mel Gibson ever decides to give up acting completely I believe his future would be secure as a director.
