Do you have any idea how to stop sneezing? my husband used to sneeze whenever he encountered 'special dust' while doing any cleaning at the house. And this will always last for 2 to 3 hours by itself. Thanks

It seems that your husband is allergic to dust. I am also allergic to dust and believe me, its torture when I have to clean house. My usual remedy for this is benadryl. It makes me a bit drowsy, but at least the sneezing and tearing of eyes stops.

Claritine didn't work with him. Benadryl! that's new to us,will try that. Regular taking of vitamin c can be helpful. Thanks all for the respond.

Try pinching the tip of your nose for a few second. I also sneeze a lot when it is dusty and this trick help me get rid of the sneezes.

Maybe he is lacking vitamin C. Like me, I sneeze a lot whenever I clean my house. We can't avoid our house to be free from dust... So whenever I clean it, it makes me sneeze a lot.

My boyfriend has the same problem, whenever we are cleaning our apartment he sneezes. He is allergic to dust. That's the real reason. So, to avoid your husband's sneezes you have to clean a house by yourself while he is away! Not fair, is it, :-)

hi there, I have allergies and sneeze all the time, the way I control it is by taking antihistamines. There's all different kinds you can by off the counter, Claritin is one for example, but if you find they don't work well enough you can always have your doctor write out a prescription. But before taking any antihistamines, you should check with your doctor first. ~proudnana~
