++scariest place on earth++

For me, it isn't so much any particular place that is scary, but the quality of darkness. It doesn't matter whether it's a cave, a house without electricity, or even a moonlit night...darkness always unsettles me. I'm not really sure why that is as I've never had a particularly bad experience in the dark. Maybe I just watched too many horror movies growing up!

i was on an island somwhere in the caribean can't remember the name but nutmeg is big there, anyway i've had boats all my life and over on the island the natives went out in dugout canoe's around the island. so i took a ride with one of them, now the waves around some of the rock out's were obsene, now this is an everyday thing for these guy's, thats how they get around, i'm a good swimmer but i saw my self flying out of this hollowed out tree in 10 foot swells bashing myself against one of the outcrops well needless to say im glad i was soaking wet from the water, this way no one knew i had peed my pants.
