I have not gone for the sleeping pills till date. Talking about the fever you had ,i think the medicines we take contain some amount of chemical which makes one feel drowsy. So its better to go for such medicines rather than sleeping pills. Sleeping pills are good for one time affair . They should never be taken regularly as one gets addicted to it and hence ends his life out of illness. To avoid taking sleeping pills i keep myself busy the whole day which makes me feel exhausted n hence a sound sleep. Thereby excluding every possiblity of taking pills to meet sleep..

I have some health problems that make it hard to sleep sometimes, so I usually take an antihistamine to make me sleepy. I don't trust any of the regular sleeping pills because they can be habit forming and I've heard that they make you feel bad the next day, too.

I have never taken sleeping pills for sleeping. I sleep the moment my head hits the pillow. When I am sick very often the medicine I take would make me sleepy. Cheers!!!

I've gone through periods of time where I can't get to sleep from being too stressed out. And I've had time when I was sick and couldn't get to sleep, too. I have taken some night-time cold medicines that induce drowsiness to help with those times, bt I've never actually needed sleeping pills.

This is a god gift for me , i never have to take sleeping pills. I always do exercise by walking and thats give me good sleep at night. Yes sleeping pills is not good for health but for sometimes you can take. But even at the time of fever, i sleep normally without any sleeping pills.Happpy SleepLoting!
