How do YOU get your referrals?

(This is not a post to promote any referral links, just so you know). I'm just curious to know how you go about getting referrals, either for sites like this (MyLot), or GPTs, PTCs, or other online programs. Which methods do you personally find to be most effective?

I am horrible at getting referrals or at least active ones lol thats why I just started a referral trade blog today,its pretty much simple I sign up for your program if you sign up for mine and be active hehe so we will see how well this works :P

I'm with you on that one. I find it extremely hard to get people to do a little more than just signing up under me. I have twenty-some referrals over at Treasure Trooper (an AMAZING gpt site), and none of them are active. =P. So I guess I'm not the only one having trouble with this. Thanks for your answer, I appreciate it!

oh I LOVE Treasure Troopers I have over 60 un active referrals there but I have a couple active ones do you use the pearls to get referrals?

Yes, when I can (and when I actually win them! I have the horrible habit of not ever winning pearls after completing offers..UGH!). I also use word-of-mouth and several online traffic exchange sites, to not avail. :/.

Usually i will just rent the referral if i feel that the site is safe... The site that I rent the referral is Arabux, Neobux, Perfectbux and performance bux... I don't know when to promote my site, so, i just rent it... =)

This sounds good. A lot of the sites I'm trying to get referrals for just don't have those options, so I'm not sure if that will work for me - but if it's made you money, GREAT job! :) Thanks for your answer!
