Weird, but it happens a lot to me. Last night i dreamed of something funny and i woke myself up laughing so hard. Good thing i wasn't sharing the room with anyone or i could have been accused of being insane! LOL. Same thing when i dreamed of a sad event like losing something/someone or being hurt by someone. I would weep in my dreams and then wake up with my face wet with tears. Does anyone experience this? Have any idea what it means?

One does not have much control over what happens when they are asleep. Myself, I talk and laugh in my sleep a lot. It is just your brain processing all of the information you have taken in over a day and your subconscious working overtime. I wouldn't worry about it too much. My sister used to sit up and open her eyes and speak while asleep and didn't remember any of it the next day. I would rather talk and laugh in my sleep than sleep walk. You never know where you might end up. A friend of mine's husband got into his car and drove somewhere and didn't remember how he got there, but he woke up in his car in his pjs!!! Yikes.

yes....happens to me all the time. I get very vivid dreams. I am always so very relieved when I come to and realize that the bad ones were just dreams but the emotion lingers for a bit...they can be so realistic. Lucky for you to be alone. I have actually been caught in such dreams as well as talking in my sleep. Apparently, I answer questions in my sleep....something one of my girls took advantage of to the point that it became a rule in my house that none of the permission I gave for silly things she asked was valid if I was sleeping. She claimed she couldn't tell the difference so I had to modify it. If I'm laying down....don't ask!

I have also experienced that, but not the thing laughing because what happens to me was I always woke up crying because of this bad dream and I feel really scared. I don't like this kind of situation so i always pray before i go to sleep so that all my dreams will be good and beautiful.

Sometimes I wake up laughing. Actualy I'm not laughing but I have a big smile on face. Those moments make my day. On the other hand I sometimes wake up frightened. I probably have nightmares during those nights.

I have experience this before. Three days of the same sad dream over and over again and each morning I would wake up crying. I think that it has a sub-conscience meaning to it like a great grievance of something or a warning.
