Do you think that you would know if you were dragging a body for miles? I have run over things that got stuck underneath like weeds etc. They make a terrible noise under the car. I know it was night but why would you continue to drive with your Van making that noise? The story said the driver stopped and looked under the van and then got back in and continued to drive. What would you do? And what would you do when you found out a human body was under the car.

I don't know savypat! I would stop when I heard the noise ecause I would be afraid something was tearing up on my car. If there was a body under there I would flip out! Iguess I would try and get it out and call the police. I don't know though..I might pass out. I never have but i would say that would be grounds to pass out for my first time.

Oh! its terrible. How could the driver not feel the unusual noise the moment he hit something and dragging a human few meters away should make him feel something is not right while he is on the wheel. So far I have no such experience (touch wood) and hopefully doesn't happen.

Wasn't that a horrible thing! I would imagine that there's so much traffic noise in New York City that you wouldn't necessarily hear something dragging from your vehicle. I'm surprised that someone else didn't notice it, however. There had to be a trail of blood. I can't imagine discovering that I'd been part of something so awful. I'd want to get the person help ASAP in case he could be saved.

Well assuming that I know how to drive I would not continue to drive like that for sure. I will have to take a look at every tire and see what happened and If I see a human body, I would definitely be terrified and I would probably call my husband or anybody else close to me and ask them what I need to do.
