Last week I saw peer gomez when I was searching for online jobs. It says that it will pay you for just staying online. My problem here is that every time I connect my peer gomez it always says ..... error in communicating in the server. How can I troubleshoot this kind of problem? Do I need to be in active status state before I get connected? What do I have to do? How can I connect to this peer gomez using the client? Do I need to set the certificates of my browsers or any port or whatsoever configurations? Please do reply with the best and most appropriate answers. Thanks...... God Bless to you!!!

It sounds like your firewall is blocking gomez access...If you haven't already done this, you may have to add gomez as a "trusted program" to allow it access in the firewall preferences/settings,or then figure out if something else is what's wrong.. Good luck!

Dont turn off your firewall ^^ No matter what! Its probably a port that is locked. Goto Control panel Network and Internet Connections Change windows firewall setting. From there, goto exceptions from the general tab. Check if peer gomez has access to internet or if its blocked by your firewall. If this doesnt work, it probably just your connection problem. Try on a different day and time...

It is still the same. I added peer gomez in the trusted sites but I still can't connect. Maybe it is because of the net provider that I have. Anyway thank you all guys. If any of you know another way or troubleshoot please let me know. I need all the help I could get.

They need to approve your application first. They only take a few people from each country who have the same internet connection speed. It took several months before I was accepted in the UK when I was on dial-up. When I then went onto broadband I got almost no earnings so stopped using it. It is a good program if you fit in with what they want and I still get $5 every now and again from my referrals there so it is a site that is still paying ok.

No, i've installed peer gomez as well long back.. And even though i was on "pending" status, i was connected to their server and my clock was ticking. it has to be some kind of connection problem or something to do with options not set properly.

Did you setup your gomez peer options-preferences correctly? I guess that's the reason you are having those errors. Normally, it should work without configuring any browser settings, certificates authentications or port settings. The only requirements are to have an internet connection and an installed peer configured correctly.

I have tried every possibilities in the preferences. Are you familiar in smart broadband. A net provider in the philippines. Giving same IP to all the subscribers connected to the same base station. If this can't be help then I guess my internet is now the problem. I THINK....
