Have you ever been in a rut and it seems like life will not throw you a break. That no matter what you do are how hard you try nothing changes for the better. I have been through times like this and I was wondering if you ever felt like this before?

well...I can say that I have been through one really really rought time and I am hoping it is coming to an end soon. One and a half years ago it started for me...I came home from work one day and my husband told me he wanted to seperate...felt like the rug was pulled out from under me...had no idea why this was happening...that is until 2 days later when I found out he was sleeping with my cleaning lady. Needless to say I left the house and moved in with my mother and filed for divorce. About a month later...while still living with my mother she was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. I took care of her from that day until the day she passed 2 1/2 months later. Then the nasty divorce became a focus...it was finally done and I thought here we go...a fresh start. Well needless to say the ecomony really started to go bad at that point. I own a very small real estate office in a lakes are and sell only second homes and lots...which, with the economy suffering no one think of buying that type of thing so for the last year my business has been horrible and funds are running very low. All I could think of is that why can't I just catch a break in one aspect of my life. People say bad things happen in 3's so I hope this is it. I am slowly recovering emotionally from losing my mother (my last living parent), and have pretty much emotionally recovered from the divorce and have a new wonderful man in my life now so all I need is for the ecomony to start on an upswing and all will be good. I struggle daily but try to see the silver lining...after all there has to be one doesn't there???

I have a fighting spirit. A strong Christian spirit and I just try to find solutions to change what I do not like. I am not one who just lets much go if I dont like it.lol I will hunt for more information, seek out advice and try to make the rut , a thing of the past. I also do things that me happy so that I dont feel so gloomy and that includes helping others. I am so hard headed lol anyone here can tell you that lol

Yes we all go through these, time to look around for the lessons you need to learn. Maybe change your focus. You can help by reading the law of attraction or the Secret This will show you how to redirect your thoughts from what you don't have to what you want. Good Luck

hello moneymommy i hear ya about life throwing somebody a break. my family and myself are going through hard times right now ourselves. we could use a good break. we sure need something good to happen to us. we need more income is what we need. my hubby's place of employment has been extremely slow since the first of this year, so something's gonna have to give here soon with us. and yes, we are surely in a rut as you called it right now. and through hard times like this, it only makes us all a stronger person. a person realizes what he/she can get accomplished if they just put their mind to it and do it. right? i have had difficult times in my lifetime as well over the years, as well as the present, and i have always made it so far and i plan on making it again this time around. take care and have a beautiful evening.

It seems to me that when I eventually DO get a break in one area of my life, something in another area screws up, so I really don't get a break at all...
