Not everybody have a big sister, and even if they do they dont have a good relationship. I believe some big sister can be very bossy, and feel that whatever they say goes. I am not saying that you must not respect big sister, but they too can respect you opinion and give a little space to be your self. My big sister was the bossy type, but the moment I take a stand she begin to respect me. I know we must respect big sister, but respect goes both ways. Because if they give respect they should get respect. And there must be good communication and understanding between each other.

I've never had a big sister but I have been one My brother was 6 years younger than me but I hope I wasn't bossy. I like to think we were good friends with a bond of mutual respect. We sought advice when we thought the other might have more knowledge in a particular area or to get an honest opinion but only gave advice when it was asked for.

I dont have a big sister. Although I wish I do...In our family, I am the big sister. I am 31 and have a brother who is 3 yrs younger than I am and 2 other sisters who are both just in their teens. We all have a good and smooth sailing relationship. I dont boss them around, instead I take good care of them. I dont know if they find me bossy, but when I talk to them, I make sure I choose the right words and deliver them in an authoritative yet sisterly manner. My brother and sisters are obedient and respectful of me. I see to it that they feel respected too. Thats how it goes with us 4. We love each other all so much. Hope things will go great between you and your big sister =) Happy Mylotting!
