happy valentine's day, mylotters

Hi there myLotters,A year ago today, on Valentine's Day, I created and posted a Valentine's Day card for myLotters. That post was http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1405098.aspx. Those who saw my card seemed to like it, and I had been very encouraged by those who responded.
And so this year, I challenged myself to create another card for myLotters, and I am happy to say that I have been able to complete it two days ago. Of course I have not forgotten to create one such card for my wife too. I gave it to her this morning (it's Valentine's Day here already in Asia) and she was very pleased with it.
So on Valentine's Day, let me with this card I've created for you (see attached) wish you love, happiness and wonderful relationships with your loved ones and all whom you know. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY. Hope you like this card.

That's really nice of you to take your own time to wish mylotters a happy Valentines day and make them a nice card. :)
I would love to see this years card that you made, but sadly it is not attached like you said it is. You most likely forgot to attach it?

hi there, pweety_princess, very glad for your response. I did attach the image, but somehow it didn't come out with the post and I have no links in my own post to try and re-attach it. Quite a number of times I try attaching images, they don't come out.
So hopefully, with this reply I can try adding in the image again for all to see. So here's the card I have created for all myLotters.

You're certainly welcomed. Very glad that you like it. Creating this card gave me a whole lot of satisfaction. Somehow, roses, chocolates, bears, hearts and strawberries go well with Valentine's Day, so adding some of these will surely enhance any VD card. Well, time to think about next year's card!

Ah, a poem to complement my card, and it is so meaningful. Thank you for sharing it here. Valentine's Day is not just a day for lovers and those in love. It is also a day to reflect over the friendships we've made and how these have enriched our lives. Valentine's Day will be even more meaningful if on this day, we take the time to reach out to those we love and treasure, and let them know how we value their friendship or companionship. Hope your Valentine's Day is meaningfully spent and rewarding for you.

Happy Happy Valentines! We are so proud that a dedicated mylot member really express his gratitude in creating cards. I'm so happy its like already a gift for all of us. THank you so much! I hope that this response is a token for your effort in those card that you made. I hope that you have a wonderful valentines like I had with my friends. I definitely unforgettable valentines moment in my life.

Hi there rane, thank you for your show of gratitude. You're certainly welcomed. Coming from someone so new like you, I feel a great sense of pride and thankfulness that my effort is appreciated. I do hope you can come back here to view the card, since the first time you posted, it didn't appear yet.
I will certainly celebrate Valentine's Day with my wife, but we will not rush with the rest today because being a Saturday also, it is a mad rush out there in the restaurants and coffee houses. For those in love, everyday is a Valentine's Day, so it can also be celebrated outside 14th February. Hope you have a memorable Valentine's Day with your loved ones.

what a beautiful Valentine's Day card that you have made for all of us around here at Mylot. thanks! it is beautiful! and i bet that your wife loved her Valentine's Day card as well. my ten year old son came running into the dining room this morning to tell me happy valentine's day and he said i'll be right back, i made you something in school yesterday. awww, he made me a happy valentine's day card and gave it to me this morning. it is so pretty and colorful. my hubby and myself are going out with some friend's of ours this evening to dine out. i was planning on cooking and all of that today, but that all got changed. Happy Valentine's Day! (hugs)

Thanks Rhonda for dropping by and viewing this card. I'm happy that you like it. I actually designed three Valentine's card this week, and gave my wife one of them. I know she likes and appreciates it, because when she saw it (I penned some meaningful words in it), she gave me a hug and a broad smile so I know she approves of what I did in making this card for her. I bet your boy designed a better card than mine. I find that making one's own cards is so meaningful, and beats anything one can buy from the shops in terms of value and what that gesture meant. That's why I have taken to designing my own cards the past year. I do hope you have a great night out with your hubby and your good friends, and don't forget us when you are enjoying yourself and painting the town red. Hugs to you too!! ~ Victor

Hi there riyasam, thanks for coming by here. I am happy to share this card with you even though VD has passed. Thanks for your feedback on the card. I actually design many more things with graphics than just Valentine's Day cards. Next February, maybe I will design another VD card for myLotters. ~ Victor

You finally found your way here, Ann. Thanks for dropping by even though Valentine's Day is nearly a month past. Great to know that you appreciate the effort in me creating this card. My only regret is that so few people actually saw this card when I meant it for everyone in myLot.
Last year, I remember several people creating VD cards also besides myself. I was in touch with one of them when we paraded our cards, and we challenged one another to do this again this VD. Well, I did mine, but I can't remember who this other person was (a lady) and whether she also designed a card this year.
I have nearly a year to think about next year's VD card...so no excuse that I cannot do the same again next year.
