If you're in North America, Europe, or Australia, you can! -Or at least come as close as you're gonna in modern times. I "disocvered" the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA)...probably 7 or 8 years ago; got involved about fives years ago. The SCA is an educational organization devoted to recreating pre-17th century history - specifically the history of Europe and cultures in contact with Europe. Yes, you can fight in armor. Yes, you can fight with "real" swords. You can eat period-style feasts, become a knight, or recreate period arts or sciences. If you're interested, check it out at www.sca.org . :) :) ~Sara
