old school coke bottles

what is so appealing about the old green coke bottles? Why do people pay more for a coke out of those bottles than out of anything else? If they are so good, why don't they use them all the time?

Drinking a coke out of a glass bottle is so much better then out of plastic or a can. I would spend more if they made them all out of glass. They taste so much better and you dont get the cans after taste yuk. I can still find tall bottles of Coke an Pepsi at the little Mexican bodegas.

I agree. Something about those old bottles makes the taste better! I only see them around Christmas time here. If I could find them, I think I would buy the longneck old school glass bottles all the time too. It must be too expensive for them to mass produce those bottles as opposed to cans and plastic.
