ringbearer25 responded to a discussion called Do you throw away food? How do you manage the extra food at home? in questions & answers.

I usually put food waste in the compost bin. I try not to put meat products, onion, or grains in there. I simply dump the waste in the bin, cover it with some leaves (shredded toilet paper tubes and things like that are good too), and I take the pitch fork and flip it once or twice a week. Also, groundup eggshells and coffee grounds are very good for plants. Sprinkle some around the base of hou...

I love reading what others wrote. There are so many interesting discussions started constantly. I also enjoy writing and seeing what responses my discussions get. Sometimes, I feel guilty a bit if people respond to my discussion, and read it, but don't reply. There are many reasons why this happens. It's all good, in the end, as Mylot is foremost about enjoying the experience. This is reflectiv...

Of course this is what I'm talking about! Fun! And free fun! Both my girlfriend and I love to create things and do crafts. We have had so many ideas on making decorations for the bike. I made the streamers she has on the handlebars. It is an old school cruiser schwinn bike. I'm glad your bike won, because from the sound of it, you put your heart into it and that is what matters most.:-)

Thanks RG. I ride my bike everywhere. When we go places together, we always had to walk. Now, we bike everywhere together! It's so much fun. We are going to decorate it together, I'm just trying to drum up ideas to help. We both like anything where we can be creative!

Oh that is a funny story. It bet he looked ridiculous! I like the idea of the little bear on the handlebars. She is going to get a new basket to put on there, but, perhaps we could attach some sort of "Hood Ornament" to the front of that. Thanks for the idea and for sharing the story, the images it conjured in my mind are quite humorous.:-)

HaHa! I ride a mountain bike too. I don't have anything on mine except for a very small Grateful Dead sticker. If I was a girl, I imagine I would decorate it up. Her bike would look good with some stickers on it. It is blue some perhaps some red hearts would look great.

Wow! That's amazing about the seedlings the other day. They must have been fooled into thinking it was spring! I have heard other stories of how resilient MG can be. My mother actually told me she doesn't like it because once you get it, you can't control it. I'm not concerned about that. I just want a vine to grow on this thing I made for my patio and I love mg.

LOL. I must defend the dopey guy here. While he made a crucial mistake, I understand how he didn't know. There were no flowers visible to him. If he didn't know how to id morning glory by the leaves, it was doomed. Therefore, chop-chop! It is growing right outside my patio. Coincidently, it came up right near where I placed this fouton frame I painted. I put it there, on it's side with plans of...

Nice insight! That voice inside our has always been there. It is the very thing that led to the concept of God. I or the 1. To look within. People everywhere were having this conversation with some voice and somewhere along the line, someone figured it must be god because who else could it be? I like your suggestion to notice the chatter. That is looking within. It's also being aware. It's very...

Stop Mountaintop Removal

Mountaintop Removal is by far the most destructive practice to the environment around us and to our own existence. The amount of coal produced by an MTR mine is hardly anything compared to the vast...

Top Shelf (for tall people)
