My fiance and I left my mom and stepbrother in our dust!

Just a curiosity question here. My mom has this thing about liking to pull the shopping cart away and around the corner whenever I am not attached to it. I always have to rush to catch up, but I always catch her before she's gotten too far. Today, it was my fiance and I who pulled the running away trick. While she and my stepbrother stood around the other side of a display talking, I proceded to push the cart on down the aisle and around the corner out of their sight. I actually had no intention of getting that far. I thought for sure they would notice that I had left them, as they so often did to me, but they did not so I just kept going. I finally stopped by the yogurt as they knew that is something we needed. We were completely out of their sight and a long way from them before they even noticed we were gone. My mom ended up thinking the whole thing was pretty funny, as did the rest of us. She never got that far. Now, I'm not one for horsing around in the store, but I had to get her back for all the times she's tried pulling the cart away from me. So, my question is, do you or have you ever done something similar to this, whether in a grocery store as we were or otherwise? Tell me some of your strange stories related to payback of something a relative did or along those lines. I am curious!

My fiance and I have never done anything like this before because we would be afraid that whoever we were with would think that somebody had stolen our cart. Lol, and I honestly can't think anything that we have done to be mean.

Hehe, well, it's not really mean in our case. All of us know we're just messing around and would never actually leave each other behind in all seriousness.

Mine is a situation where someone else got even with me!! When I was younger, I used to make it a point to do something to embarrass my Mom in the store. Sometimes, I would purposely let her get down the isle and then run after her yelling, "Mom, don't leabe me!!" or something equally embarrassing because it drew unwanted attention to her.She got even with me one day, and I have yet to top it. We went to a store with the entire family, my grandparents, my aunt, my cousin, mt Dad, and my little brother. In this store, the back side of the cart folded down. my little brother had to sit up front and I decided to kill two birds with one stone; I wanted to make him laugh and embarrass Mom at the same time. So, I folded the back of the cart down and sat there. My brother thought it was funny, but Mom was a bit embarrassed to be pushing her then 16 year old daughter in a cart. I thought it was great until Mom saw that I noticed a group of really good-looking guys not far from us, and was getting ready to stand up. These guys were easily in ear shot, and they were looking at me too. Just as I was getting ready to stand up, Mom says, really loud, "Now, if you would just fo the exercises that the doctor has told you to do, you would be able to get up and walk and I wouldn't have to push you around in this cart like your little brother." The guys heard her and looked at me again, my face turned bright red, and when I tried to get up, Mom pushed the cart forward quickly so I was not able to get up. Yep, she got me good that day!! It is still a big family joke.

Roflmao! I love it! That is a really good one. I have to admit my mom did some super embarrassing stuff to me, but nothing quite like that, lol
