Not good! On Saturday I had an unexpected invite from a new friend for me and my family to go up to their house for a drink and a takeaway. My eldest did not want to go as he is 17 so it was my other two boys and my daughter, my friend has three girls and a boy and they are all close to mine in age. I did not think my boys would want to go but they were really excited when I told them!
We took a bottle of wine with us and went off, my kids had such a fantastic time they fitted in really well and were so good I was really proud of them. Now I am not used to drinking, it is very rare that I have a drink and when I do I drink WKD which is an alcoholic pop and not very strong but I was drinking wine and because I was talking I did not keep track of what I was drinking and before I knew it I had drunk nearly a full bottle!!!!! Now I did not make a fool of myself and I behaved very well but I was definately drunk!!!
We had a great night though and did not get back home until 2am!!! But boy was I ill, I was sick I had a bad headache and I am still not fully recovered now!! So too much of a good thing is definately not good for a person!!
When was the last time you had too much of a good thing?

LOL I am glad I made you laugh!! Believe me I was not laughing at 7am the next morning when I had my head in the toilet bowl and my head was throbbing so much I wanted to cry haha!!!! I still feel rough now!!!

What you have to do NEXT TIME is to take a strong glass of Andrews Liver Salts and you will not wake up with a hangover. I do hope that you are feeling better now. lol Blessings

oh well i am glad u had a good time thats all that counts last time I did something dumb was a couple years ago my cousin came to vist a she is a drinker i am not an I went to a pub with her an she bought me fireballs god they are good but u ge drunk quick from drinking them anyway she had to carry me home that night an I prayed to the porclein god to let me live though the nite an I wouldnt drink again

It's been years since I had a good night out dancing and drinking. At my sister in laws wedding in New Zealand 2007. We actually went to the Rugby Sevens dressed up as Wonder Woman (10 of us) and boy was a day and night that was. It was a lot of fun from what I remembered LOL I didn't feel good the next day either LOL

Atleast you and the kids had a good night, I think you suffered a hangover due to you not drinking much and then when you do, it is only alcopops. Im not much of a drinking either and when I do I am the same as you, drink alcopops. Sometimes after I have had 3 or 4, I start feeling lightheaded lol though I dont admit it to anyone!!

Well, it just so happened that Saturday night I also drank alittle too. I remember now why I didn't like to drink before. My hangover wasn't that bad as I took several tylenols before i went to bed. I did enjoy the feeling I got and it was all good.

For all the behavior described by you I have taken this stand that I will not have good thing in life. TIll now I have been successful and did not had that thing in life.
