The house next to me had been vacant for more than 3 years, someone has just bought over the house last year, and the house owner started to do a big renovation to the house. The renovation has been held from July 08 to Jan 09, it's almost the whole period where I was staying at home and pregnant. It was really very noisy and also it has brought quite a trouble to me, as they knocked down the fence in between, and it made my house has water dripping issue and also my gate was not able to open for months. I have contacted the owner many times, she didn't seem to be responsible, though she has promised me many times she'd fix it for me.... Finally, we have given up waiting for her to fix my problems, and we plan to fix it by ourselves. Since we may become neighbors, and she doesn't seem to be responsible, we can't do anything for it. Just now, when we brought our dog for a walk and when we came home, we saw a board putting on her gate, stating "For Sale". Well, I really found it funny, as she did a really huge renovation, spent much time and money on the house, at last she decided to sell the house. (Previously she told me she's going to move in and stay here.) I am not sure whether she can get a buyer very soon due to the economy now, also she has made quite huge renovation and the new design of the house doesn't seem to be practical and nice too. Perhaps I should be glad that she's selling off the house, as she will not become my neighbor. Sometimes, it's not so easy to get good neighbors, though I always try to have good relationship with them. Not everyone is considerate about others.

Hello kaka135! Now I can feel that you're relieved because your neighbor finally decided to move and sell the house..hehehe..Maybe probably has a lot of money because it's easy for her to move.

Hi friend, thanks for your response. I am not sure if she is really going to sell the house, anyway I can't do anything about it, I'll just fix the problems by myself.

Hi there, thanks for your response. Who knows how the new house owner is. I have been staying here for more than 3 years where the next house is vacant, I am not sure how long it takes to get a new house owner now.

Maybe she ran into a major problem she didn't see fiesable to fix or possibly her whole plan was to renovate it and sell it to make money from it. Me and my husband did that for a while. We bought mostly foreclosed homes and renovated them and re sold them. With the economy the way it is there isn't much money in that now though. Whatever the reason I hope you get a good neighbor and a quiter one! LOL

Hi fasttalker, thanks for your response. Perhaps you are right, as the house owner is a business owner, or perhaps she finally thinks that she doesn't like staying here. Now, I am just thinking, it isn't easy to get a considerate neighbor.

Hi. It is possible she was just flipping the house, but in this economy i can't see why anyone would be doing that. Some people have problems being considerate of others. It is good that you try to have a good relationship with your neighbors, it can be very hard at times.

Hi there, thanks for your response. I have no idea why my neighbor did so, it's true that in this economy, it's difficult to earn money from buying and selling house like that. Yeah, sometimes when we try to have good relationship with others, but when others did something bad to us, I really do not know how we should react, or just tolerate with them.
