dmrone responded to a discussion called I love to hunt? in hunting.
Hi, MeganJones! No, i don't think you should give up on your hunting. Being a mom has nothing to do with you hunting. I know several moms who hunt, and they enjoy it. I like to hunt myself, and my husband does not mind if i go. My father taught me how to hunt, and i am grateful he did. Keep hunting, and enjoy yourself. Maybe pass it on to your children.

dmrone responded to a discussion called Really Enjoy Composting For Fresh Top Soil in gardening.
Hi! I would love to but i have no idea on how to get started. I had a nice size garden this year and i know the compost would have come in very handy. I guess i will have to check in how to go about doing this, as i plan an even bigger garden for next year.

dmrone responded to a discussion called How much milk does your household consume? in questions & answers.
Hi,3SnuggleBunnies! There are quite a few people in my household, but we go through about 10 gallons of milk in a week. Everyone of my children love to drink milk, and my grandchildren do also. It is hard to keep milk around my house. I have told my children if they keep drinking milk the way they do, that i am going to have to invest in a cow just to support their milk habits,[em]lol[/em]. I ...

dmrone responded to a discussion called The Tenth Circle - Jodi Picoult in reading.
Hi, miamilady12! No, i don't think i have ever read this book. There have been times when i have read a book, and don't remember it until i start rereading it again. I always read a book from beginning to end, but sometimes i forget the names of the books so i wind up starting them over again. It refreshes my memory when i start rereading it, and then i put it back up and go to another book.

dmrone responded to a discussion called Are sugar substitute really bad for us? in questions & answers.
Hi, Fulltank! I do not have facts to back any of what i am saying up, just personal opinion. I do think using sugar substitutes are bad for our health. The reason being is there are so many chemicals that go into making them, and then we just put those chemicals into our bodies. The real thing does go through a refining process, but it is pure sugar. I personally will take real sugar anyday ove...

dmrone responded to a discussion called She stole from me! in friend.

Hi, lilybug! Yes, i have had this happen to me. It was my ex-husband who did it through my special needs child. My husband and i were running a family business, and we would take home the money at night (we did not have a safe to put it in at that time. My ex-husband would wait until we were all asleep, and tap on my son's bedroom window and have him go take some of the money for him. I confron...

dmrone responded to a discussion called Frustration of calling in to make a doctor's appointment... in life.
Hi! Yes, this does sound quite a bit annoying. Most of the time if you sit in a doctors office long enough you will find that they are doing nothing more than talking to co workers and not doing their jobs. When i start to get the run around, as i call it, i let the person on the other end of the phone know real quick that i will not hold, wait, or be transferred.

dmrone responded to a discussion called Help/Advice needed in friend.

Hi! Well you could hang out with the two different groups at different times, have a party and invite them all (give them a chance to get to know the others), or you could just speak your mind and leave it at that. I don't think you can make people like each other, but if they really don't know the other group then maybe they should have a chance to get to know the other group, and go from there.

dmrone commented on a news article called Millions will have to repay part of tax credit in latest business news.

Thank goodness i was not so lucky as to get a tax credit! I do have one question though, how can the government be to generous? The government always figures a way on how to get their money. They never have to do without.

dmrone commented on a news article called NC searchers find body of missing 5-year-old girl in national news.

This is such a sad story. If the mother did not do this to her child, may they find the ones who did, and if the mother did do these things she is charged with may she find forgiveness. My heart goes out to her father, who i can imagine is in a great deal of pain, and is probably blaming himself for his child being taken from him.
