Say if you worked for SPSA well thats a company collects the trash and workers sorts through and seperates the recyclable,paper or whatever they may have to do etc. etc.Anyway if you found a bag that had around $10,0000 inside would you keep money or turn it in?Hmmmmmm I'm thinking its not the company property right? The worker you found it.Lets see what answers we get.Have a great day people!!

Yea I was thinking that to.They probably will pocket the money for themselves.I was found in trash so it doesnt belong to anyone.

Thanks for understanding! I mean if it was in a wallet or something like that, then it would be AWFUL for you to take the money, but if it's in a brief case or something with no apparent owner..for sure.
I'm glad you understand, though, because I didn't want to seem like I was a greedy b1tch for saying I'd take the money. ;)

Hi disvachic! Such a temptation! lol..
If there is a name on the bag, I will return it but if there is no one who is claiming ti, I think i will keep it. I would really like to think that if I will be in that kind of situation, I will do the right thing. It is not mine and not mine to keep. I have found some valuable items before and have returned every single one of them to the right owner. $10,000 is a lot of money and during this hard times, that is such a big temptation for me. I do pray that I will always do the right thing!

I would honestly turn it in, my concience wouldn't let me keep it. If I lost that kind of money, I would want somebody like me to find it. I would hope that whoevers money it is, that the people would give me a reward. That is if the owners were found. But if the "real" owners aren't found, then the money would belong to the finder, that would be me.

Unless there is some identifying feature stating the money belongs to somebody,then it seems to me that the money belongs to you. You got lucky. However, hold on to it for a month so as to see if anyone calls in for it. That would be my thing. If not, enjoy.

Yea I figured that.It didnt happen to me.I have a friend that used to do that type of work and she would find 50 dolaz here and there.I just thought I would start a discussion on this to see what interesting answers would come about.Good seeing you take care!

In this day and time keeping it would be my first thought. my second thought would be that much money wow how could someone be so careless and my last thought is another mans trash is another mans tressure LOL

That money would have been thrown there by mistake. What I'll do is to check for any name or ID and if there's none I'll go to a reputable radio station to inform the public that I found this bag full of money. But, I will have to ask the claimant to describe 'his' bag to make sure that it really belongs to him.

WOW!!! That would be a big issue if I found it! And I think I couldn't hold on being a famous man with that much money! Hahaha... Police station would be the first instance I have to go to inform that bag.
