Are you a productive member of society?

Yes defiantly! I am a activist. I write, I'm a good friend, and a good example of what disable people can accomplish given the appropriate tools and supports. I try to do my best to help other people achieve independence and I try not do anything that would make disable people or any other group I belong to look bad to members of the dominate culture. I am very aware that people have spent a good part of their lives so I could have the opportunities I do today. I think its my obligation to make sure that future generations have even more opportunities then I did. I may not have the biggest bank account but I have one of the better lives I have observed.
