Have you ever wished you'd been given a different name?

When I was little I really wished that I'd been given a different name. I thought I should have been called Selina. As I got older I was so glad that I hadn't been called that! I do know quite a few people who don't use their given name because they feel it never suited them. How about you?

I hate my name. Its to common for me. My cousins always called me Ashley (not my name) for some odd reason. But I'm not a fan of that either. I like boy names for girls. I always liked Dallas or C.J., T.J. There are several names that I wish I would of had, but somehow I ended up with my dull name..

I guess for some people it does. For me its been all my life and I plan on naming my daughters a boys name. But I would never name my son a girl/guy name like casey, ashley, Shannon, Cory,Alex and whatever else people think are boys names.

I went through a phase of wanting a boy's name, like Toni, Sam or Jo. It wore off though.

Well that's really good that your name fits you. I think mine does too - it just didn't when I was little.

i actually love my name but i wanted two names instead of one name. most of my classmates have two names so i kinda feel that my name is too short.

You could always add another name!
